This is one of those stories where there’s not one good person involved.
Except New York Attorney General Letitia James.
The ad firm embroiled in a very public shooting match with the National Rifle Association is saying that it wants out of its contract with the gun rights group.
I see what you did there.
Let’s let Letitia sort it out.
So I’m pretty sure it couldn’t be called NRATV if so
Infact says Ackerman-McQueen’s annual revenues range between $10 and $50 million. If the NRA is worth $40 million a year to them, it puts quite a different light on their wanting to end doing business with the NRA.
“Over the last very difficult year, the NRA’s chaos led us to lose faith in the organization’s willingness to act on behalf of the NRA’s mission,” Ackerman says in the statement,
So Ackerman has been dealing with them for 38 years, and it was just in the past year that things got covered over with Russian dressing. That Butina sure made an impression real quick.
“decided it is time to stand up for the truth”
Yes, advertising firms are noted for their moral stance - why didn’t you stand up for the truth earlier by not running misleading ads?
Faced with the dismemberment of its cash cow, ad firm decides peddling evil is no longer tenable.

Neither Ackerman McQueen nor the NRA wouldnt recognize the truth if it bit them both in the ass.
There has to be some jailtime crime at the bottom of all this shit flinging. You don’t get both parties running to public lawsuits otherwise.
Whom are they making this noise in the direction of? They’re acting a lot like the employer rather than the employee. (Which would make sense if they’ve been doing sweetheart grift deals with NRA management all these years and essentially using the NRA as a front for their for-profit gun shilling.) Do they imagine that they can ride out the legal disassembly of the NRA (because they’re just an innocent contractor) and then use all the NRA lists and data and other assets they’re holding to set up another “nonprofit” front organization?
Just waiting for Wayne to sing “My Way” as Attorney General Letitia pulls the plug on Tiny Penis Club TV!
Down the road someone will do a long, multi year TV Series/period piece with the appropriate hairstyles and suit lapels and width of ties, about the Go Go years and the lusty lives of those Oklahoma advertising men (and women) who made gazillions of dollars while enabling the NRA’s suppression of academic and clinical research into gun violence, silencing of legitimate policy debate on guns, and propagation of a false interpretation of the Second Amendment.
Well , Mr LaPierre is nicking members money to buy all his clothes .
If AMc pulls out of this agreement, it can only mean they intend to set up a competing organization. I think the whole plan with Ollie “The Shredder” North was to take over the NRA. With him exorcized, then AMc will have to do it the hard way.
Otherwise, why would you want to pull out of a deal that accounts for up to 90% of your revenue? To spend more time with your kids?
With both hands and a flashlight …
