Wayne La Pierre’s speech was textbook straw man argument. The straw man in this case being “Socialism”. You see, Obama and his Socialist holdovers want to first take away your 2nd ammendment rights which would then allow “them”, undeterred by righteous civilian militias, to take away “all your other rights.” That’s right, all of 'em!
I continue to be amazed that almost every ranting CPAC speech will also namecheck Saul Alinsky. As a lifelong Liberal and card carrying member of the ACLU I have only the vaguest familiarity with Alinsky (Activist? Socialist? Academic?)
Color me cynical, but I’d bet money the network suits do have this information. And gleefully rub their hands behind closed doors.
