Political masturbation.

Yep, we have right here the correspondence between the NRA and the ATF arguing that bump stocks should be subject to regulations from when the original decision was made. Not.

Is that docket a public record?

“The NRA believes that devices designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations"

Whoa whoa whoa, there. Is the NRA finally allowing restrictions on ALL conversion kits? In light of Vegas, and a mass murder every day on average in the USA, this would be a very smart move. However, given their history, they will backtrack and say we “only were talking about regulations, not a ban.” My prediction. Write your Congressmen, folks (I did), there is a sea change about to happen because of Vegas (I hope).

Extremely good (and quick read) interview of Tim Fischer, Australia’s deputy prime minister, center-right politician that passed their gun control act in about 3 months, with staggeringly positive results, although I think he is still a bit naive about the NRA.

“My message to the NRA is: Basta!”

So back in 2010,when Obama& his administration,PERSONALLY, approved the bump stock, if they had rejected the idea of approving it, the teabag demographic would have applauded, right? Praised the Obama admin for doing the right, responsible thing? JK! LOLOLOL!!

To his credit Berman has been on voter fraud, onerous voter ID requirements, SCOTUS decision tearing apart the 1965 Voter Rights Act and most related topics for a long time.

No such thing occurred.

The BATF concluded that it lacked the statutory authority to regulate or approve bump stocks.

I got it. Bump stocks should be banned…along with any and all guns that one might have wanted to modify with a bump stock, had they been legal.

Wonder how much bump-stocks are sold for on the Internet ? They are costing $99 and according to Fox Shrews , people are rushing out to buy them .

“This is why we elect Congress to do this,” she said.

Ok, as expected, the NRA quickly backtracked on “The NRA believes that devices [plural] designed to allow semiautomatic rifles to function like fully-automatic rifles should be subject to additional regulations"

Call me naive, but even Republicans are considering a ban on at least bump stocks.
Strike while the iron is hot. Contact your Congressmen.

Bump stocks:

“Many more would’ve died actually [without bump stocks] because if you talk to people who know a lot about guns they say pros don’t even fire on fully automatic because they can’t hit anything,” Tucker Carlson insisted.

¡Ay, caramba! Poor brain-addled Tucker. Firing into 22,000 bodies does not require precision, you dumb piece o’ …

Additional regulations such as they can’t be anywhere near me, Your kids, not so much.

If they ban bump stocks, how will ammosexuals find sexual gratification?

Guess they’ll just have to take things in hand…
