It has cut the guts out of its âcoreâ programs but I bet itâs political activities remain the same. Some non-profit.
I wonât believe anything until I see just how much the NRA spends in Virginia to interfere with the discussions about gun ownership that the Governor is initiating. My guess is, whatever cash they have left and can sell assets to gain will be spent here.
Grifted themselves to corruption enroute to eventual irrelevancy and demise (one hopes).
The National Rifle Association slashed funding for key programs as its legal spending skyrocketed in 2018
NRA being sucked dry by lawyers. Bugger, what a problem!
Who do I root for?
The GOP is suggesting they should cut the price of membership dues to increase revenue.
To explain the soaring increases in overhead NRA President Carolyn D. Meadows said, simply, âBaby needs a new pair of shoes.â Asked if âbabyâ was a veiled reference to Vice President Wayne LaPierre and his expensive wardrobe choices, Meadows smiled coyly, but did not answer.
Why anyone at all continues to give money to this bunch of slaughter-peddling misfits is entirely beyond me.
Hopefully all the top dogs at the NRA will pull a stunt like the following!
If youâre a gun owner that wants to practice at a licensed gun range, some ranges require NRA membership because they are then covered by the NRA if an accident takes place.
If the NRA keeps cutting their gun safety programs, that justification goes away.
Thoughts and prayers!
They have been delightfully silent during their legal and financial problems. I hope it lasts⌠right up until they go out of business.
Iâm glad the NRA is now officially giving permission to timid MSM reporters to finally tell the public whatâs in the heart of 2nd amendment advocates.
Someday we may drown it in the bathtub.
Theyâve decided to cut marksmanship and safety training? That was the only worthwhile part of âTodayâs NRAâ. Guess âthe suitsâ need some more designer suits - and thereâs also the law suits. Suits 'em right.
Did they stop giving away, as âfreeâ gifts, your choice of a China-made, gas-station-quality pocketknife that wonât hold an edge, or a China-made, dollar-store-quality gym tote that wonât hold 10 pounds more than once?
Unless Iâm missing something, it looks like most if not all of the recent increase in revenue is going to legal fees, correct? Sounds like something NRA donors should be informed aboutâŚ
I had assumed it was the NRA giving a referral fee to the range on the first yearâs membership, but you likely know what youâre talking about.
A ruble just doesnât go as far as it used to.
