Appoint bosses of all Federal agencies who seek to destroy the agency they’re appointed to, check.
Steal a Supreme Court seat for a reich-wing fanatic whose dissenting opinions to date have only been to because the opinion wasn’t far-right enough, check.
etc. etc. etc.
God help us. However, I do sense that John Roberts is seeing the light more and might drift toward the liberals if another cretin is brought on. Hard to believe that little man from Kentucky has wrought all of this. I will express it again: I hope he burns in hell.

If Justice Kennedy retires, the only thing that can prevent another reactionary Judge like Trump GOP “justice” Gorsuch is a Democratic Senate majority elected next year. Of course, even that won’t help if Kennedy resigns before January, 2019. If he resigns anytime before then, the Trump GOP Senate will just rubberstamp any radical reactionary they wish.
