Truth be told, I don’t think you need to be all that smart to be admitted to Northwestern and the like. I had my fair share of less than stellar kids in my calculus classes at Vanderbilt. Someone has to go there without scholarships, who else would pay the bills?

Fun times for Matthew Kafker’s family. He is from Swampscott, MA, near Boston and his father, Scott J. Kafker was sworn in as Chief Justice of the Appeals Court of Mass. in October. Dad is a grad of U of Chicago Law School. His grandmother is an attorney.
From reading his Twitter account, Matthew had been going to boarding school before Northwestern and sounds like a real brat before he got into Northwestern. Apparently Dad had some pull and Northwestern’s Admissions Office didn’t bother to screen the kid’s Twitter account for a little personality review.
Guess the family will have a good lawyer. They’ll need it. This is a Hate Crime and a felony.

See Sarah Palin? This is the punk-ass thuggery you are trying to say comes from the left. It comes from people like you and Donald who lob verbal weapons into our national discourse, then walk away as if you have nothing to do with the consequences of your hyperbolic, confrontational language. You pretend that drawing a bullseye on a woman who got shot was just a coincidence or agreeing with those who think we should “get rid of” anyone who’s not in on your groupthink isn’t toxic to our national discourse. You have always lacked civility and pretend to be a victim of everyone else’s thoughtful criticisms. We don’t have time for YOUR reactionary, small-minded ideas about America. America has long been meant to be an expanding concept of democratic participation and social and economic justice. That is the only future that works.
