“False and grossly inflated”

Which is it? False - OR - ‘grossly inflated’.

“…false and grossly inflated.”

Isn’t that what Stormy Daniels said about Trump’s penis?

gross, yes. I don’t think she was impressed with the inflation.

Even if the racial data was not on the “work” computer, that doesn’t prove the racial data wasn’t used to draw the districts and that is the critical point.

165 Pages?!!

That’s a lot of explaining for something they say is “gross inflated”. I haven’t read it but I suspect most of it is an attempt to claim they didn’t know stuff that they almost surely did, and that their actions 100% consistent with knowing the stuff was pure coincidence.

The fact is that lawyers routinely lie for their clients hoping to get the benefit without being called out for it, and then will just obfuscate when they are.

If they’re lucky, they’ll only be found to have lied in the usual sense. Because lying to a court gets you fines and/or a change of residence.

In a fair world, of course, this would mean that the court would revisit its decision not to call a special election, vacate the legislature, and invalidate everything they had passed as a result of the lies.

The daughter of this guy that turned over the hard drive she found after his death is my hero of the month.

How dare lawyers use information handed over to them while pursuing a case.

Isn’t that the gist of this flailing … sorry, I meant filing. Really ;).

North Carolina’s GOP Legislature Lies About Lying To Court In Gerrymandering Case

Fixed.

Don Yelton let spill the beans in 2016, and his comments have been cited in court filings already.

I can tell you this: when your defense to lying to the Court and flouting discovery by lying in depositions and concealing relevant, discoverable information is “they were naughty when they got it from someone else and made it public by filing pleadings about it”, you better be well fucking prepared for the Court to go apeshit. I skimmed it and it comes off as 50+ pages (the rest is exhibits) of desperately pleading that “yeah, we hid all of this from the plaintiffs and the Court, but they should never have been able to get it the way they did and so they’re all more naughty than we are!!!” The attempt to turn it all around so that the Plaintiffs are the bad guys should leave a bad taste in the Court’s mouth. Unless the Court is in the bag for the legislature already, I can’t see this flying much better than Flight 370.

Let the discovery depositions begin! Save those emails…obstruction of justice is very, very bad!

From this layperson’s understanding, “gosh no, your honor, the obvious falsehoods we told you in court weren’t actually lies, because…” is a conversation you don’t want to even get within a couple upwind miles of. It seems to make judges awfully grumpy.

I just want to say how disappointed I am in Stormy Daniels and the other women Trump had affairs with. The reason for the disappointment is I thought for sure a pompous arrogant shmuck like Trump would send dick picks to his girl friends. Stormy for sure should have received an email from Trump with a dick pick.

Please Common Cause, dump all those files into the public record before some RW judge buries them.

They’re going full Trump and attacking when caught red handed. Let’s hope the court strikes them down…again.
