Discussion: North Carolina Asked Feds To Indict Alleged Fraudster Last Year

Maybe, after Mueller presents his report, we can have a bipartisan commission, modeled on the 911 or JFK assassination commissions, to investigate the entire business of FB and other internet election hacking and vote suppression. Such a group would make recommendations.
Or, maybe I’m naive.

Higdon was fired from his job as chief of the criminal division in the Eastern District of NC. “Mr. Higdon’s removal coincided with an opinion from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit, United States v. Bartko, 728 F.3d 327 (4th Cir. 2013), harshly criticizing the practices and behavior of the criminal division Mr. Higdon led, directing the Clerk of the Court to serve a copy of its opinion on the Attorney General and OPR, and noting that “[s]anctions or disciplinary action are also options.” 728 F.3d at 342.”

At least the justice system in the US still shows a semblance of sanity and non-partisanship (mostly).
No doubt to counterbalance the gross amorality of the Republican Party. Also, folks in the judicial system make decisions with real impact on people’s lives in their community, and they mostly try to live up to that responsibility. Republican politicians, on the other hand, openly mock everyone because they don’t give a rat’s a$$.

If you are too scummy for North Carolina Republicans you should be in prison.

It will be worth it if we come out on the other side with the right wing demonized and afraid to speak in public and the end of right wing media. Of course getting there won’t be pretty but if he breaks the country with their help it’s time to break them all like humpty dumpty trumpty so that no one can put any of the pieces back together again.
