And you never would have been senator if Paul Wellstone hadn’t died in a plane crash. Your point is?
Norm, you must be kidding. Take “I grab them by the pussy” as exhibit A.
And Coleman makes this claim because…?? Really, really pathetic.
Great minds think alike.
I have to admit that this is a very good point. Given the current situation with the Asshole-elect’s pussy grabbing, Moore being a born-again asshole who likes to fuck little girls, and the stories pouring out of corporate America. I think there has to be bi-partisan zero tolerance on this. I hate to say it, but Franken should immediately resign.
Yeah that is probably true, Norm. Now get on with your life.
Great point! While we all stare at this ‘shiny object’, Cheetolini (stole from a fellow poster) is setting up a propaganda conglomerate.
If women had felt more empowered to speak out in 2008, who knows what would have been revealed about Norm Coleman.
If ifs and buts were candy and nuts, you know? So zip it and fuck off, you whiny loser. He’d have been a senator all that much sooner if you hadn’t whined about losing like a whiny loser, you loser who whines.
Really, TPM? Oh wait, a Cameron Joseph piece.
Woulda, coulda, shoulda, don’t get it done Norm. It didn’t come out and you lost. Get over it.
That’s how Donnie Two Scoop speaks – says he doesn’t want to talk about something, thereby explicitly talking about that thing.
As I recall, there were a lot of rumors circulating in Minnesota at the time about Norm’s sexual peccadillos…

Shame on the journalist for saying “Franken’s sexual harassment” as if it’s been determined that that’s what happened between Franken and Tweeden.
Well, Normy Boy, go bitch and moan to Miss Tweeden and her BFF Forever Sean Hannity. They’re the RW apparatchiks who wouldn’t help your sorry ass out by giving you the picture to defeat the man Tweeden supposedly despised because of what he did to her. Doesn’t say much about you, does it, Norm?
This Prime Member has said just this to various reporters in messages, and they seem to remain committed to being National Enquirer Lite.
“You’ve got to believe that photo is worth more than 312 votes,” former Sen. Norm Coleman (R-MN) told TPM Friday morning
If anyone is looking for evidence that it does matter whether you report sexual harassment in a timely fashion, this could be it. Speak the fuck up. It is important. Tell your damn wives and daughters that the only person who benefits from secrecy is the attacker.
It sure is good that there isn’t anything else going on right now, like, say, a debate in congress about handing a trillion dollars to very rich people as a justification for destroying medicare and medicaid
All this talk of Franken resigning, and yet it’s one instance, which he’s dealt with it as well as he could short of resigning, given what he did. The President stands accused of multiple instances of this behavior, and possibly worse, and yet no one is publicly clamoring for him to resign. Also, weren’t there examples of similar accusations about events that took place before the accused was a member of the Senate, and it was deemed inappropriate for an ethics investigation to take place because the alleged event happened before they were in the Senate? Just like this case? What Franken did was completely wrong, and he’s called for an investigation, so let the investigation take it’s course, but it seems premature to talk about Franken resigning because of this, unless everyone else who stands accused does likewise.
Look how long it took Franken to take his seat in the Senate because Coleman contested the election for months. He was finally certified as the winner on June 30th, 2009. Just reading about everything that happened after the election makes me sick, with, of course, the added crap about illegal voters giving the election to Franken.
