The money laundering angle is the only way any Rump property, globally, makes economic sense. Anyone whose finances are illegal, shady, highly embarrassing or taxable should love a Rump property for the networking effects alone. Legitimate, transparent investors and residents lose their shirts with nothing to compensate.
