âTonight a song on Cory Booker being gay, all of you have really reached a new high,â Christie said
Not really a repremand of the aspersions ⌠perhaps ânew lowâ would have been more apt. Canât tell who Christie hates more ⌠the media or the popular Cory Booker.
He probably hates the prospect of what Bookerâs future holds.
This skit was apparently organized and performed by NJ journalists. How far the fourth estate has fallen in this country indeed.
Who cares! What mindless partisan âentertainmentâ!
The idiotic parade of âinformationâ about the crazy rightâs most recent idiocy IS NOT INFORMATION OR NEWS!
It seems media across the board are intent upon keeping us ignorant of the most important events of the day.
Oh, in case anybody is in the fast track trade passage in the Senate today (virtually guaranteed to impose TPP and its corporate plutocracy onto the near future), this is a list of the corporate shills and sellouts responsible:
Senators: Maria Cantwell (Washington), Tom Carper (Delaware), Chris Coons (Delaware), Dianne Feinstein (California), Heidi Heitkamp (N.D.), Mark Warner, Michael Bennet (Colorado), Tim Kaine (Va), Patty Murray (Wash), Bill Nelson (Fla), Jeanne Shaheen (N.H.), and Ron Wyden (Oregon) - Wydenâs the ranking member of the Senate Finance Committee.
At least Krugman is still paying attention.
Hey Joan - we see what youâre trying to do here. Go to TPM Prime and start a discussion. You are off topic and keep posting this stuff in every story, We get it - you;re against the TPP,
Didnât know he was a vegan. Will have to re-think my opinion now.
What the HELL is the matter with those people? They canât, just once, resist showing themselves up as horrible, hateful, and homophobic? As long as antics like these continue, the Republican party will continue to be the face of hate in American politics. It plays in the primaries among the no-information low-lifes that are their base, but they look just awful nationally.
If you donât like it, you have the option of not reading it, Joan.
âTonight a song on Cory Booker being gay, all of you have really reached a new high,â Christie said, according to audio posted online Friday by the International Business Times. âPat yourselves, give yourselves a round of applause. That was really great. That part Iâm serious about. You know, thereâs some things like, you know, that abuse of me tonight is just fine but that was really interesting. A brand new high for you guys. Congratulate yourselves.â
Bravo to Christie on that (said non-sarcastically)
Iâm glad he spoke up; it was the right thing to do.
Ditto.
Thanks for the concern, ended association with Prime.
One of the reasons is that covered topics are extremely limited.
TPM comes across as a selective political organ, and as such, has limited value.
But you are right, itâs not really worth the time calling TPM on it.
Progressives are found in so many other places.
