Oh, come on. He’s a Republican- he’ll find someone else to blame for it- preferably someone with dark skin.
Let the circular firing squad commence.
“He’s got no one to blame but himself for this fiasco,”
I would like to thank this GOP state legislator for giving me the rare chance to agree wholeheartedly with a Republican. And actually that makes two for today, counting the Texas GOP Congressman who called the U.S.-military-preparing-to-take-over Texas conspiracy theory “silly.” Now I’m gonna go have a beer and try to enjoy the warm afterglow of this bipartisan feeling before some right-wing jackass spoils it by…oh, damn, too late – Louie Gohmert had to go and open his stinking pie-hole and drop a big fat mouth-turd on the political stage.
Have the beer anyhow. Take it from me, it does wonders.
Of course he has no one to blame but himself. Behavior this blatant could never take place unless it was in line with Christie’s attitude and methods.
Blimpy Soprano is goin’ down like the Hndenberg. Whoooosh, splat.
True, Christie is to blame. He’s the “leader,” he sets the tone (bullying, intolerance of dissent, win at all costs), and so it’s all on him. On the other hand, it’s interesting that this guy sees it as somehow connected to Christie trying to befriend Dems (sort of putting it partially on Dems); what it’s really about is how a petty tyrant became furious when he couldn’t get exactly what he wanted from someone and used his power–illegally–to punish them. It’s about abuse of power (and a mindset of win at all costs and you’re either with me or against me), not befriending Dems.
The buck stops, somewhere else!
The indictments handed down Friday confirmed that theory.
Rulings are handed down. Indictments are handed up.
Yes…but…see how he manages to say the problem is Christie wasn’t sucking up to the base enough. He just wanted the Dems on board AND that is the real problem.
Like with every other stinking Republican politician, for them it’s ALWAYS Obama’s fault!
New Jersey is a bi partisan scandal, has been for forever,l but Doherty, you’re a REPUBLICAN! Do you really expect us to believe you would be any different? Your party’s leadership O.K.'d this shmuck so you are of course JUST as much at fault.
He has said so himself time and again his mother was of Scliian descent and vendetta was what she taught him. Being of Italian descent myself that was never my experience. On the contrary I was taught to respect others. I heard him repeat the Mother story many times and wondered what he was trying to prove. Poor christie he learned the wrong lessons!
Hey, Republicans, line up and take a swing at the Christie pinata circling over head. Now is your chance to smack the lard out of that self righteous bully. Give it a good swing…don’t forget the follow through.
This just gets better and better.
Remember when the GOP loved them TeaBabies?
They coddled 'em. Nourished 'em.
And then the TeaBabies got to be recalcitrant JuvenileTeaLinquents .
and they wouldn’t listen to the GOldFarts .
And now JerseyBoys are going Kardashian on CorpulentChristie…
Tea-freakin’-Hee.
It’s Cinco de Mayo…have the beer anyway.
If you wait until there is a GOP critter to spoil the agreement, you’ll never get more than the opportunity to crack open the bottle.
If there is a God in heaven, his next career will be in NJDOT coveralls as the guy who moves the traffic cones.
This is going to be long, it’s going to get uglier, and I for one am going to enjoy the HELL out of every second of it.
