A jew like Grossman clearly has a very short memory of the American immigrant experience. He forgets that this is what earlier Americans said about the filthy, flea-bitten, ignorant jews who escaped to America, including his very own relatives. Now he wants to sound like a WASP whose ancestors owned the boat his people came over on. Sad. Some people will do anything to join the local country club.
Thank you, Mr. Grossman, for illustrating why the Republican Party is an agent of evil.
This from an aging white dude? I am STUNNED.
He sounds nice.
Another GOP politician who forgets he’s not supposed to say what his party believes OUT LOUD. (Or alternatively, feels sufficiently comfortable under Trump to say it out loud.) Whatever the reason, these guys really are squirming out from under their rocks these days.
Anyway, this is a good thing - not only can his opponent use it against him, but other Democratic candidates can use it against their opponents. “Do you agree with your colleague when he says this?”
He’s Jewish? What the hell? Does he have no knowledge whatsoever of what Jews went through in this country for so many years? Or, if he’s so history-challenged, of what’s going on right now with the anti-Semitic alt-right that so eagerly embraces the GOP?
That’s it , Seth! Stand by your remarks! Shout them even louder! After all, you’re one of those guys that Donald Trump likes to handle his money, not those shady, dark “affirmative action” folks!
When contacted by Philly.com on Monday, Grossman, who has aligned himself with President Donald Trump, stood behind his comments.
The RNC duly notes additional Presidential timber has been found in the forest.
Teatroll Rosetta Stone: “Waaaaaaah!!! I can’t prented I’m not discriminating with you all up my grill paying attention to how differently I treat people of different races, religions, genders and sexual orientation!!!”
“My opponent thinks women are cutting us into pieces, and that women should just stay home and care for the kids.” Heckuva job, American Bridge, for getting this on tape!
I love how he pivots from “Democrats are dividing us!” to “And you negroes should hate them Mexicans for taking your jobs”.
Yes. The shit he’s spewing is born of one of two things: abject ignorance of history OR a deep and desperate desire to repeat it. For this guy in particular, I’m going with the former. He just strikes me as THAT fucking stupid, particularly when he ends with the idea that one person could support a family back then which, because of several decades of GOP foisting plutocracy on this country as a means of preserving white Christian hegemony, is a well-known practical impossibility now.
Overall though, it should be laughable that these morons think their Orwellian doublethink everything-is-actually-opposite nonsense is fooling anyone, but then I go over to Faux News and they’re not only fooled, but so deeply and delusionally convinced that its working to drag the nation back into the 1950’s that I have to ask whether we’re all just THAT wrong believing from our ridiculous, educated, objective viewpoint that others are smart enough to see through it all. Maybe they’re not. Maybe we’ve really reached that point where the stupid and the avarice have finally combined to exceed a threshhold where, regardless of whether they’re fooled or not, people just don’t give a fuck anymore and will run with whatever it is they wanted to hear, knowing full well they’re selling themselves into a falsehood, but not giving a fuck if they can arrange for it to become the official narrative and especially not if they can obtain the power to force it down everyone’s throat who told them they can’t have what they want. Because how fucking dare you tell them they can’t have back an imaginary 1950’s version of America that never really actually existed but sounds so good and so pure and so fucking awesome to own as a white person?
And the opposition ads write themselves, once again.
Grossman? Sounds German. Who let his ancestors in?
Now perversity, that’s a core Republican value, exclaimed Grossman.
I’m originally from the same community as this schmuck and my family belonged to the same synagogue. He was viewed as a C- lawyer who was too stupid to actually know he was ignorant. I see nothing has changed in 30 years.
Tomorrow:
"Diversity? It’s great! I thought you mentioned perversity! "
New Jersey’s southern Second Congressional District,
While I don’t know if Murphy won this part of the state, I do know that Trump barely won it.
According to the Philly.com article, Obama won this area twice.*
*Duh. Which, had I clicked on your link, would have given me the margins, too!
