Discussion: Nikki Haley Defends Confederate Flag: CEOs Haven't Complained (VIDEO)

Discussion for article #228866

"noting that many young people leave South Carolina “all too often.”

Haley retorted by claiming that the Confederate flag has not kept companies from coming to the state."

Ah, but you know what will keep them from coming to the state? Lack of young people and a tiny labor force of unskilled laborers.

People with any brains in their heads are fleeing states like this, which is why the GOP/Teatrolls operate them the way they do in the first place. Overall, their hope is that the minorities will leave most of all and “go somewhere they’re wanted.”

Of course the only opinion that counts is that of the CEOs. All heil the CEOs!

Yes, yes, and only CEOs should be allowed to vote.

So, the “Southern Swastika” is good for business then, Ms. Haley?

“But we really kind of fixed all that when you elected the first Indian-American female governor”

Riiiiight…just like everyone getting to say “President Obama” magically means there’s no more racism. Just ask the SCOTUS…they practically ruled it as a truth of the universe. Racism is even deader than God according to those fools.

“When we appointed the first African-American U.S. senator, that sent a huge message.”

Yeah, loud and clear: “We really really really hope tokens will fix our image problem so we don’t have to change our ideology and policy agenda.”

Wait a second.

A governor trying to bring jobs to a state? Government can’t do that.

Remember when this dim bulb was in the news every day clamoring for attention? That sure ended once she got it and the world saw what an empty pantsuit she was.

Using the word “token” outside of a Chuck E. Cheese makes you the racist!

“I can honestly say I have not had one conversation with a single CEO about the Confederate flag,” she said.

OK, right wing shit-for-brains, how about letting us know which CEOs you’re planning on having a conversation with next, and we’ll make goddamned sure they have a conversation with you about it going forward.

The Confederate flag is the flag of evil. Period. It is the flag of slavery. It is the flag of fighting for the right to be evil. A Rebel is one who will resist being constrained by the forces of good to continue to exercise their free will to commit evil. This is what the Confederate flag symbolizes. If you do not understand this, then the rice in your pot has simply not cooked. You need to think long and hard about your emotional attachment to that symbol. The death toll from this struggle between good and evil stands at 750,000. Nikki Haley, in defending this symbol, embraces evil in all it’s banality. South Carolina has forever been warped out of proportion by it’s commitment to the Rebellion. I know. I lived there in pre Civil Rights times. I saw the white only water fountains. I saw black men step into the gutter to let a white man pass. I list South Carolina with the enemies of Love.

And of course, African Americans are so disproportionately represented among them, any sensitivity to this issue would have been at the forefront of the dialogue, I’m sure.

“When we appointed the first African-American U.S. senator, that sent a huge message.”

No, dumbass, you didn’t appoint the first African-American US Senator. Ed Brooke was from Massachusetts, not South Carolina.

Haley retorted by claiming that the Confederate flag has not kept companies from coming to the state.

Of course it hasn’t. The flag doesn’t keep companies from moving there, a grossly uneducated, racist population of morons who elect the most regressive pieces of shit imaginable is what keeps people from moving there. The flag never even comes into question when there are so many other glaring problems.

Companies making money in South Carolina wouldn’t object if the swastika were on the flag.

It’s the flag of unpatriotic, seditious, rapists and murderers who started a war over the ability to own other human beings. It’s the flag of a people so painfully stupid and self-involved that 150 years after the war ended their spawn are last in every metric a state would want to be first and first in every metric in which a state would want to be last. The Southern States are still the poorest, sickest, least educated states in large part because of the sins of their ancestors. That’s why it makes no sense to fly the Confederate flag. These people sold their ancestors up and down the river because they were too damn shiftless and lazy to pick their own damn cotton, and their ancestors are too damn stupid to realize it. Flying a Confederate flag to me is like wearing a t-shirt that says, “Stay away from me because not only am I racist, I’m too dumb to remember to breathe and my fat ass my pass out and fall on you.”
