You nailed it. Anybody who has parented small children knows they keenly pick up on differences among people and ask about them. How a parent answers to those questions (in words or actions) is everything.
The fact that this police chief can’t manage to summon up some outrage for these junior-league lynchers speaks for itself. I doubt there’s a cop alive who doesn’t understand that regardless of age, some people are cruel and a danger to others. Some kids make mistakes. Others have something darker going on. I wish we had a functioning DOJ right now. But what we have are Enablers-in-Chief.

This makes me sick. We have a vacation home right across the river in VT. I had been hearing crime and bigotry was picking up but I didn’t know it was in children this young. I am beyond disgusted.
