Discussion: NH GOP: Op-Ed Attacking Shaheen By Dead Lawmaker Republished By Mistake

Discussion for article #229358

Ah yes, the typical excuse of the toddler party, “don’t look at us because Johnny did it”.

Just a mistake, like the 40,000 voter registrations that have somehow “disappeared” in Georgia.

“oops”

One week till the election.
That means its DIRTY TRICKS TIME for the GOP.
Not enough time to investigate and affix blame, plenty of time for the GOPers to “oops, it was an INTERN that did it”, or the ever popular: “We are very, very sorry that we got caught doing xyz.” to the “We don’t know who ran this ad that completely supports every single thing we do, honest. Would we lie?”
Expect a blizzard of “Issue Ads” from groups no one has ever heard of and no one will ever see again. Groups that only pop-up in the last week of the election cycle and then disappear in a puff of 501©/504© filings. You will never, ever figure out where the money came from (but we know better. KOCH ‘cough’ KOCH.)

Forget the ‘re-publishing’ thing. That’s just a red herring. Why would you publish anything written by the chair of either party or other overt partisan that is nothing more than an attack on an opponent the only purpose for which is free political advertising?

It’s completely unethical.

Likely it was the only coherent written message available to the NH GOP. Heaven knows that Scott Brown isn’t known for either his eloquent speaking or his deathless prose.
