Discussion: NH Dems Demand Sec. of State Quit Trump Voter Fraud Panel After Kobach Controversy

Evidence is to Kobach what oil is to water.

The problem is nobody demands proof from Kobach. He makes wild, unsupported claims, the press reports them and in a while the claims gain some traction in the minds of Republican voters. We need to have more fact checkers.

The rub is the GOP base doesn’t believe the fact checkers. If you site Snopes to a Republican now, they claim it is owned by Soros and no longer trustworthy.

“New Hampshire’s top Democrats are calling on their state’s (nominally) Democratic secretary of state to resign from President Trump’s voter fraud commission…”

The use of “(nominally)”, even if the sentiment behind is valid (which it is), is kind of a value judgement. I question it’s a use in this article.

And remember: his big schtick is that he has gotten really good at working all the contacts needed to protect the New Hampshire primary. Which most people couldn’t care squat about. But which probably brings a pile of tourism and campaign and news dollars to a state that really has no reason for being except as a suburb of Boston.

Which proves the power of the Republican propaganda machine and the inability of Democrats to persuade the general public that the sky is blue and the sun rises in the East.

welcome to the first great example of precisely the kind of gross misrepresentations Kobach intends to make after mining and cherry-picking the date. And if you think it’s too transparent to cause a HUGE reactionary shitstorm, think again:.

Faux News is spinning that shit light-speed…and just look at the kkkomments if you want to understand what it generates.

Case in point: the Huckabees (Sarah and Mike) were just on The View, and asked that very question, that Politifact says Trump lies 95% of the time. The Huckabees called it lies, and went on Fox the next day to call the women “irrational”.

Actually a decent rebuttal by The View, even from the conservatives:

And thus the BIG LIE is rolled out by the Trumpsters;

The Big Lie

Love the expressions on the faces of the TWO former governors - "Really, Bill?!

@paulw "…a pile of tourism and campaign and news dollars to a state that really has no reason for being except as a suburb of Boston."

You’re forgetting the “suburb” has no sales tax, and cheaper booze and cigarettes, which lure far more Massachusetts dollars over the border than the quadrennial political nonsense could ever hope to provide, and allow us to forego a state income tax, although real estate taxes are fairly stiff.

ETA: And Kris Kobach is a lying sack of shit also too.

Proof doesn’t matter anymore. We are in a post-truth world. Voters know they are being lied to. Its the Democrats fault that they aren’t ‘believed’ anymore. You fill the peoples bellies and they’ll ‘believe’ whatever you say, at least they’ll act like they do (votes).

Who in the world can trust Kobach’s analysis on anything, much less identifying voter fraud. Everybody knows he’s going to see what he wants to see. The simple fact that he raised issues with people with out of state licenses voted in NH and not realizing the circumstances that legally rectifies those conditions. For him to totally ignore any relevant circumstances and comprehending that theory and then go back to review the data to determine whether there are breaches under the new formulated conditions. See folks white people are ignorant n’s too, and Koback fits the bill!
