There was a lot of talent passed over in choosing this guy to host TDS. I’m not saying he didn’t deserve, but he definitely has yet to prove himself. His attitude toward women is NOT what I like to see from someone I hoped would be a progressive voce on gender issues as host…

Apparently some of those talented people passed over like Jessica Williams declined the honor.
I am willing to also give Trevor Noah the benefit of the doubt and see if he has changed since he wrote those tweets. There are many instances of people actually changing their views over time.

HEY!! I am of Irish descent–and Native American, to boot–and I don’t drink. I’m a poor excuse for being Irish as I don’t even have a taste for the stuff. I’ve tried but just can’t enjoy the taste – or the effect. I guess I’m kind of a control freak.

Oh, well – you wouldn’t be my first straight crush. An old schoolmate of mine was my first real crush, but, alas, he married and has kids. I think he knew (and this was the '70s and '80s) but never let on. Now, of course, my radar is pretty spot-on so I only make that mistake on line and with cute cartoons.
Now, now, stop beating up on your fashion sense. To this day, my first choice is levis and a comfy shirt.
