Discussion for article #232615
Well you can’t judge a book by looking at its cover, so we shall wait and see what the story is.
It seemed like a good idea at the time.
Well, you know, if they’d started with a figure of a woman who was actually dressed like a woman in business these days, and THEN implied that “Silicon Valley” liked to look up their skirts, maybe it wouldn’t be so whacked…
It’d still be whacked. But maybe not so whacked.
Can’t wait for the Newsweak story about what Silicon Valley thinks of African Americans. I hear they have a picture of an African American being lynched in a data center.
Going after the racism and sexism in Silicon Valley is long past overdue but this sensationalist bs is making me think Newsweak isn’t going to be up to the task.
There was an article in The Onion a while ago “Time Plans New Edition For Adults”, to complement their long-running children’s magazine. Applies equally well to Newsweek. The irony is that Time’s international edition actually is more serious, they just stick stupid crap in the American version.
They still publish this rag?
What the fuck have rags ever done to you? I have some very nice functional rags.
