Since these sh*tbags told their constituents upfront what they were planning, this is exactly what the people of those states wanted. OK. Let them have it.
I believe that Rump and his posse will try to pass some sort of national Right-To-Work legislation. I doubt it’ll pass but having failed at that, they’ll go on to abolishing the Federal minimum Wage.
And we can now witness a new nation’s emergence–Dumfukistan–where all the winger’s dreams come true.
About that Indiana bill against foreign law, because Sharia!, I think it would also preclude a lot of the Orthodox and/or Hassidic social organizational rules involving marriage. Several areas of family law that they resolve (or are required to resolve) through rabbinical panels and rulings would appear to fall under this bill.
This actually seems worse today, if you can believe it.
Absolute power does what again?
And I thought the turn of events in 2010 was bad. Even though my not really a Democracy anymore state has a Republican led house, we did manage to get the Governor’s seat. Hopefully it will at least stop the bleeding. It’s going to be a long few years.
May every dipshit in these states get personally burned including those who would vote left but sat at home because “they’re all the same”… Feel the pain dupes. Then think and vote.
What were the voting %'s in these states?
Yes it’s important
In Missouri we will have a show down between rural and urban, and as for "Look at the states around us that are growing and prospering,” Senate President Pro Tem Ron Richard said of plans to push right-to-work legislation. “We are going to send this on a calendar and we are going to pass it.” we voted on this several years ago and the people said no. I guess we need to start flooding Ron Richard Senate President and Todd Richardson Speakers of the House maps of Kansas. Everything KS does MO wants to follow.
The bizarre thing is it’s not like MO will have examples of the overwhelming success of KS, WI or KY. By most metrics, these are failed states. They just want the immense control and satisfaction of seeing people suffer.
I know it’s like those states don’t even exist except for the fact they steal their legislation and try to pass it here in MO.
What kind of citizens do thse guys think they will be retaining given these measure? And when the conservative experiment fails like they have in the past these states will deepen their welfare state status and burden the entire country tax payers…
ALECs having a new years clearance event…didnt you know…
If the sweeping Republican majorities really are due a populist groundswell of demand to improve the lives of middle class Americans what better way than to weaken labor protections and eliminate women’s health services. Maybe it will get better for Joe Plumber after they cut taxes on the rich, keep the poor from voting, and defund public schools. Seems to be working out great for Kansas. Maybe we only need 4 states Kansas, Kentucky, Texas and Utah.
Does he mean the state of Kansas?
Makes one so sick of winning?
“Feeling the pain” is super important right now. The Democrats can no longer protect people from the consequences of their vote. They need to feel it in a very deep and personal way. There needs to be suffering or nothing will change.
I’m so sick of Right to Scab laws. Why the hell don’t Dems ever try to repeal them once they are in power?
As in math, it’s insanity squared…or maybe taken to the third power.
Either way, the voters in these red states will get their just rewards, I’m quite sure. Once they lose their Obamcare, Medicare, Medicaid or employer paid premiums, they will be in a world of hurt. And I do hope their wives, girlfriends and even teen daughters all get pregnant very quickly! Now let’s see how their votes “helped”.

These states, the midwestern ones, are the people who grew up reading Left Behind. http://www.economist.com/node/1291227
They make light of it now, but they were full Trib. They have a strange reality.
