But don’t worry…even though he laid out how racist his motivation was, the GOP and FOX will find some way, some how to make sure that this is about white victimhood and attacks on Christianity.

What? It’s almost as if he took rightwing rhetorical literally, and really does think he’s facing some epic struggle for freedom, rather than it being a metaphorical struggle they’re only pretending threatens our freedom because they’re bored.

I mean, seriously. If the stuff they talked about on talk radio was accurate, then everyone should be doing what he was doing. But since it’s all just a game, the usual suspects who say this stuff will deny all blame, because they were only speaking for entertainment purposes only and didn’t intend for anyone to act upon what they’re saying.

That’s ok, Fox News, John Eillis Bush, Rick Santorum, Rudy Giuliani and conservatives et al still won’t own up to it or admit they know why he did it other than to desperately and dishonestly spin it as an attack on “religious liberty”, or blaming it on there not being enough guns, etc. etc.

Hell the Gov. of the State won’t even do the bare min. of symbolic gestures such as removing the Confederate flag flying on the Capitol grounds, she won’t even lower it to half-mast for fucks sake, much less do any of the heavy lifting of actual leadership or the politically courageous but needed things like reduce access to human killing devices to any nut-ball out there. Something she has already rejected out of hand I might add.

But those who call out racists, push to curb gun violence, and/or want an honest discussion about continuing racism and inequality in society… well, according to “conservatives” those people are the real racist, the race hustlers, the players of “the race card”, nanny-statists, etc. etc.

I am so sick of it, and I say that as a white male. I can’t even begin to fathom being a person of color who is on the receiving end of racial discrimination in our society. I really am sick in my stomach that this is where we are, with nearly half our nation in abject denial, and semi-blindly enabling this shit.

Yet the Reich Wing will still claim that we “don’t know” if this is a racism-motivated attack.

I thought Darling Nikki made it all pretty clear that the flag isn’t coming down until “it’s bad for tourism, bad for business.”

Let’s see if I can remember how to spell BOYCOTT. Voilà!

Presidential candidate and owner of the N!ggerhead Ranch weighs in:

"In an interview today with Steve Malzberg of Newsmax, former Texas Gov. Rick Perry described the mass shooting at an African American church in Charleston earlier this week as an “accident” that was possibly caused by the over-prescription of medication..."

All this insane rhetoric over the years, all this spurring on and enabling of actual insane violent people, and all of it from people we’re told over and over again get really genuinely enraged when they’re accused of being racists.

“Spirit, are they yours?” Scrooge could say no more. “They are Man’s,” said the Spirit, looking down upon them. “And they cling to me, appealing from their fathers. This boy is Ignorance. This girl is Want. Beware them both, and all of their degree, but most of all beware this boy, for on his brow I see that written which is Doom, unless the writing be erased. Deny it!” cried the Spirit, stretching out its hand towards the city. “Slander those who tell it ye. Admit it for your factious purposes, and make it worse. And abide the end.”

If Roof claims this manifesto as his own, someone clearly helped him write it. It wasn’t written by a 9th grade educated boy. I hope they find who actually wrote it.

No inflammatory political speech or cozened SCOTUS Voting Rights & Citizens United travesties and their companion over-the-top media fluffing and gun rights insanity and no crazy kid killer, period.

The rightwing denial of the racist motivation makes me very angry – to see the supposed leaders of nearly half our population overtly excuse racists and court their votes has the effect on me that seeing someone take a crap on a US flag would have on soldiers arriving home from war-zone duty.

As part of the white male privilege that surrounds me in America, when I express this anger, people will attribute it to me “having strong feelings” or using “forceful expression”. I won’t be called an angry black man or a bitch or any of the other labels used to dismiss the sentiments expressed by people who aren’t white males.

Yeah, who can say?

We need to deny these double-talkin an
swine (I’m talking to YOU, Jeb Bush) any significant role in the country’s future.

They’d rather be thought of as stupid than as racists, but really those who deny an avowed racist’s racist acts are BOTH stupid and racist.
@tiowally: (translation) No symbol of the defense of Christianity from the Devil’s work should ever be removed unless the Devil succeeds in attacking revenues. Then we cave.

His defense of George Zimmerman is cut and paste from numerous segments of O’Reilly, Hannity and the rest of the gaggle at Fox.

Looks like the GOP platform for 2016.
What with Rupert Murdocks sons taking over FOX News -
This GOP manifesto may be all that is left for old white men to cling to.

Or: ‘Rising Republican Star Dylann Roof Celebrates Southern Heritage and the 2nd Amendment in Style!’

“Well someone has to have the bravery to take it to the real world, and I guess that has to be me.” – Dylann Roof (Charleston)

“I think that this situation absolutely requires a really futile and stupid gesture be done on somebody’s part!” – Otter (Delta House)

Yep. Zimmerman seems to have been a lynchpin event in this murderer’s mind.

Bluto: “We’re just the guys to do it.”
