I think in Vermont --so just over the line to New York–you don’t even need a permit. You can own all the guns you want and carry them openly or conceal them. No permit. No license. Pretty sure. So that would be another option for people who don’t like forms.

As citizens we have an agreement known as the social contract and that places responsibilities upon us, like arresting law breakers and those illegally in possession of weapons. For the good of all not the few.
This dumb ass cop should actually be arresting himself and then possibly shooting himself for resisting arrest.
