Iowans are realizing that, while Braley may be an idiot, Joni Ernst is a lunatic. It’s taken so long because the media has been bizarrely unwilling to call her out on her Akin-quality BS.

I read this morning in WaPo that GOTV efforts in IA and Colorado were reaching out to Dems that did not even vote in 2010 on top of the voters that did.
But the kicker is that these efforts would start to show up late in the polling. Here’s hoping their right…

The Democrats have a far more energetic and far better funded GOTV operation than Ernst does.
This is why Braley will likely win.

I voted for him already. My friends did too. But remember, it’s pretty much a toss up, and although Iowa is progressive in many ways, we also elected Steve King and Chuck Grassley. I’m crossing my fingers.

Democratic GOTV efforts are our ace in the hole. Republicans spend all their money on the hate ad campaign to energize their base. If we vote we win.

That is awesome. I’ve been posting here in KY that Democrats need to vote early and take someone with them. Take especially someone not likely to vote like a young adult or someone who is semi home bound.

As I recall,PPP was the most accurate pollster in 2012. I recall them calling the Walker recall election right on the money too.
