Suspense seems to be basically over. Bernie himself was at the WHCD last night rather than campaigning. That says a lot right there.
And Hillary is not airing ads in the upcoming states, either. Sanders is spending quite a lot still, but he has cut his spending in Indiana from his original ads buy.
He’s been up with ads here in KY for a couple of weeks now. I tend to watch TV on delay or recorded on the DVR, so I don’t see many commercials but his ads do seem very positive.
So far their messaging seems mixed – since NY Devine and Weaver are sounding quite a bit different (and Devine seems oddly silent compared to pre-NY). I am not following recent Sanders ads, but glad if they are getting positive. At the same time though they send out Jane Sanders out there and have her vomit crap. So I think I still reserve judgement. Not entirely clear where they are headed for.
I really don’t expect Sanders to campaign for Hillary as hard as she did for Obama. I’d be happy if he just gets back to his happy warrior persona he started his campaign with.
