I’ll take a dead heat going into Election Day in NC any day.

With Hillary’s GOTV operation, a “dead heat” in North Carolina is a two-point win in that state.

THANK GOD! Maybe those of us who live in NC should have a party here on Election Day. I am looking forward to changing my profile photo.

In my own volunteering career I’ve seen the Democrats put together a big 'ol sophisticated machine on the ground over the years. I’m very, very curious about its effect on the results this year. I won’t say more. Just very curious. : )

Big Pat may be her best unintentional ally.

On one of the MSNBC shows yesterday, they went through the 2012 final RCP average in various swing states. They found that Obama outperformed polling by an average of 3%. That’s incredible. The polling guru discussing the matter explained that it was largely due to minorities being underpolled. I think this year we’re going to see the same phenomenon in addition to the difference between strong GOTV vs. none. Even though Romney’s GOTV may not have been as strong or as effective as Obama’s, his campaign still had a significant presence and 100s of field offices trying to get their voters to the polls. Trump doesn’t even have that much. Clinton could be sitting on an additional few % points just on GOTV alone.

Methinks she probably won NC the day he signed that despicable bill into law.

I really hope that’s the case. If HRC can keep NC and FL or hell really even just FL out of Trump’s hand she should have the win.

With NC, even without FL, as long as she has NH, (9 point lead in polls now there for her), and CO, (6 points now) and VA (5 points)and PA (7 point lead now) she can win this with NC, without FL and without OH. Trump needs ALL of those plus FL to win. The only very big Electoral Vote count state Trump probably has right now is TX…(of the big 3 EV states, NY and CA are safely Hillary’s).

The Charlotte rioting doesn’t help. Trump couldnt have orchestrated a worse message for Clinton, or worse timing for it to happen.

I’m sure this poll will change after the first debate. BTW they need to keep an eye on the donald and make sure he does not consult with anyone during the debate like he did in one of the primary debates.
