Talking about âNew Hampshireâs Neighborsâ lets you add Bernie Sanders and Howard Dean to Massachusetts, but itâs really just Massachusetts which has other strengths (MIT!) besides adjoining New Hampshire.
The first Democratic Presidential contests will once again be held two small mostly-white conservative rural states instead of states that represent the large, diverse, and progressive base of the Democratic Party.
Remember that Iowaâs Senators are Chuck Grassley and Joni Ernst.
The National Democratic Party could easily change this, but they wonât. The reasons are clear: Holding these first contests in these states helps preserve the wealthy white male power structure that dominates America, and denies an early voice to people of color.
No democracy, no justice.
TPM, scrambling for stories with âcontentâ while waiting for Mueller. Either way, Iâm too busy raking leaves.
Finns having fun!
When do we get to have fun again?
https://twitter.com/pyryluminen/status/1064159712919334917/photo/1Itâs Thanksgiving week, Mueller could give us all something be truly
thankful for.
Iâm an old Boston guy living the last couple of years in NH. From where Iâm sitting Warren towers over the competition. That could change, of course, but right now none of the other very talented and accomplished potential candidates can compete.
It would be very pleasant if, following any election, politicians would TAKE A FEW MONTHS OFF!
God Iâm hating politics.Just gimme a break!
Then TPM might be the wrong place for you, just sayingâŚ
Agree⌠I donât have a candidate in mind at this point, but I personally hope the usual suspects put their egos aside and donât run again. The midterms were a referendum on diversity and new voices and fresh ideas, not on any one individualâs political career. We have a very engaged couple of generations (Millennials and GenZ) coming up right now; we have an opportunity to build on their energy and enthusiasm.
BERNIE SANDERS is not a DEMOCRAT⌠he is the guy who invites himself to the family dinner, and demands he be given the seat at the head of the table, he is another TRUMPfâŚ
Leading New Hampshire Democrats have already raised the possibility of
dualduel winners emerging in the all-important expectations game over the coming yearâŚ
Well, if nothing else, it would be interesting to watch.
