Discussion: New Declassified Report: Putin 'Ordered' Campaign To Influence Presidential Election

We handed us over to a fucking insane traitor. We did this. The call came from inside the house. We did this. Neither Obama nor Joe Biden nor anyone else without a device by which to kill can stop this. This is happening.

And this:

"When it appeared to Moscow that Secretary Clinton was likely to win the presidency the Russian influence campaign focused more on undercutting Secretary Clinton’s legitimacy and crippling her presidency from it’s start, including by impugning the fairness of the election."

This is when he started the ā€œIt’s rigged!!!ā€. This treasonous traitor was scripted from beginning to end. And now, as well.

No we didn’t, plucky.

No we did not. Putin did this.

"There’s nothing I can find that ties directly or indirectly to Trump or his campaign. "

I’m not sure. I quickly read through the report. One thing that stood out to me was this: ā€œA journalist who is a leading expert on the Internet Research Agency claimed that some social media accounts that appear to be tied to Russia’s professional trolls—because they previously were devoted to supporting Russian actions in Ukraine—started to advocate for President-elect Trump as early as December 2015.ā€

That’s very interesting. How would the trolls known to support Trump back in December 2015? Had he made any of his pro-Putin statements by that point? (I’m not certain but I wouldn’t have thought so.) This certainly suggests to me that Trump was colluding with Russia from the start.

Paul Ryan: This provides Trump the mandate to shape the world. SCOTUS is all his, so is OCare repeal, privatization of Medicare and Medicaid. Trump is a true leader.

And still the smart, savvy, smart disciples of St. Glen of Greenwald will say ā€œNo evidence! No evidence!ā€ Because of course they’re not going to publish the sources and methods.

What’s going to be interesting is whether, having seen the annex, the Turtle is going to have the audacity to pooh-pooh it.

Dubya: I wouldn’t rush to listen to our intelligence agencies. They have permanently tarnished my legacy. I don’t trust them, nor should you. Besides, I have seen Putin’s eyes.

Another thing I found interesting in the report (besides the fact that Russian trolls were supporting Trump as early as Dec. 2015) is the way the Russian criticism of Hillary (was it from RT?) was perfectly mirrored by Trump–claims about her health, her alleged ā€œcorruptionā€, the Clinton Foundation…

Sure, he did his part, but it was up to us to take our asses to the voting booth and vote for Hillary Clinton. Too many people couldn’t or wouldn’t do that. Throughout the debates, the campaign, etc. it was clear who was fit to be president and who was not, but people were arrogant and petty as fuck. It was more important to teach lessons than protect our democracy. So, while you and I didn’t do this. The overwhelming majority of the people who post here didn’t do this. But about a 100,000 people in three states did, and we’ve all gotta live with the consequences.

I’d like to know that too. But we’d have to ask Clapper or John Brennon.

ps…now we know the REAL reason woolsey quit the pretenders team…he was made aware of this info…and believes it…so no longer wants to be any where near the ā€œteamā€ when the next shoe drops.

Common sense suggests that he should shut up and let the foreign policy and defense members handle their business.

But in Trump’s world, when you are winning…

This presidency will be torturous for Trump in that this report will be endlessly quoted from now to forever. And other connections will be made. There had to have been mistakes made in the go-betweens needed. And someone, at some time, will be cornered, get scared or pissed, and fess up.

AT this point I have no idea how many people actually did not vote and how many people voted only to have their votes not count.

How can we be sure of anything with all of this right here? How? I don’t think this man was elected at all.

It’s so strange right here in Texas - on the local level we got rid of Republicans. We replaced them with Democrats in races where there were Democrats running.

And we vote on Diebold machines. I know how easy they are to hack - It’s a snap according to TI experts I’ve talked to.

Of course Putin wanted to do this and did this. The question I want answered: did not only Team Trump but ALSO the GOP leadership know it all the while Putin was doing his thing?

We really need to know.

I have no way to like this as much as it deserves. Come on congress get your act together and do something about this.

[cough] Rex Tillerson [cough]. The top levels of our new gov’t are going to be wholly owned, managed and dependent on what Putin says. America, somehow, just totally f-ed itself. Hard.

There is no doubt whatsoever that a stupidly large number of Americans did vote for Trump. The rest is a rounding error.

I think that’s right. I think one of the things that’s critical here is the degree of coordination between the Russian attacks on Hillary and the Trump campaign. I wonder if that’s what Pelosi meant when she said that the media needed to ā€œconnect the dots.ā€

As I read somewhere… The attitude of a typical Trump voter as he emerged from the voting booth was ā€œI just threw a hand-grenade into my house… hope it doesn’t explode!ā€
