Discussion: New Declassified Report: Putin 'Ordered' Campaign To Influence Presidential Election

I want to see Trump’s taxes. And, I want to see an inventory of his assets and indebtedness. If Trump has offshore assets or indebtedness, in or held by Russian institutions or individuals or otherwise, his actions as President may be compromised or influenced by his property and/or financial entanglements. Transparency now!

Pretty much what I expected. If I understand this correctly, RT was the go between that conveyed hacked information to Wikileaks. There’s nothing I can find that ties directly or indirectly to Trump or his campaign. Putin got the PEOTUS he wanted and Wikileaks helped him. So still “His Illegitimacy”.

Edit: There’s nothing that I can find in the report…

We need an immediate investigation of Trump campaign officials and advisors–Stone, Manafort, Bannon, others. What did they know and when did they know it? What contacts did they have with Russian officials or intelligence operatives? What was the nature of those contacts? Some of these folks have admitted they were talking to the Russians during the campaign, I suspect our intelligence folks are aware of these contacts. This bullshit must not stand.

After his briefing, Trump stopped short of embracing the intelligence community’s assessment that Russia interfered in the presidential campaign, saying only that any hacking attempts had “absolutely no effect” on the outcome of the election.

uhhh…yes, they did effect the election, you orange rapist, incest-ual pedophile asshole!

It’s as though he didn’t understand a thing or listen to a word of the intelligence briefing.

I don’t know - I believe it was the Atlantic that published a piece with an interview with a former Russian agent who said that Putin and Trump planned this op for 5 years.

Trump: This is so very impressive. I always thought Putin is the most powerful in the world.
Snooky: I love The Putin Head. He loves me, me, me, me.

Its been documented for a long time that Putin had a longtime hatred for HRC as SoS and Obama. Based on this…Yes…it DID have a effect on the election…

“absolutely no effect” on the outcome of the election."

said the effected outcome himself…

The President that Putin Made claiming it “just didn’t happen” fits right up there in hypocrite history with McConnell’s admonition about Dems stalling Supreme Court nominations.

Hypocrite’s History is being written in manic-fast chapters as we watch, there’s never been a political moment in time that condenses so many acts of shameless, self-serving hypocrisy into such a truncated time-capsule.

Perhaps. Perhaps Steve Bannon was in on it too along with Michelle Bachmann, and my Trumpster neighbor that sells gun parts out of his house, but the report in question doesn’t support any of that. This is now the report of record and stand as the “last word” on this matter.

What I found a bit unsettling was that while they hadn’t hacked machines, they certainly did some research into the machines that the US uses in various states. I’m assuming to figure out how they could be hacked.
