Of the 3 quotes, I think the Shelby quote is the most telling. Shelby just ran for re-election and won in '16. He was a Dem who flipped to the GOP and has been one of the more popular figures in the AL GOP. But last election was the first time that the Dems won the Birmingham area in a long while. I think that quote tells Republicans ‘be invested in your state’s rep, not your party.’
Does Moore even have money for ad buys? Will the RNC and NRSC relent and give him funding for the stretch run? Or will he have to rely on interviews of supporters since he’s avoiding most media himself? Not a great spot to be in, but it’s better to be in that spot in Alabama than just about anyplace else.

Shelby has no love for Bannon, so I don’t even think he’d mind this ad all that much. It’s a good tactic to repeat next year when the drunken slob’s carnival of horrors is competing with incumbent Rs.

I’ve kept this huge antique shell for about three years and they’re everywhere right now in home décor. When it’s time for Christmas or Hanukkah, you can switch out the pumpkins for another accent. Last year, I filled the entire clam shell with tiny pink and turquoise ornaments.

It’s been a bit since the most recent round of allegations, Leigh Corfman has done an in-depth interview, the Moore camp has done their push-back, and Trump, through Conway, has kinda-sorta given Moore his blessing. I’m anxious to see how the numbers are looking.
Me, too—but I’d bet dollars to doughnuts it reflects the trend we see already, which is to say away from Moore and toward Jones.
While it would be catastrophic for the GOP to have Moore in the Senate, it won’t be much less awful for them if Jones wins.

Oh, c’mon. It’s a versatile and interesting mathom for home decoration and she’s deriving some harmless joy with it. While it is true giant clams are listed as endangered, she mentions in passing that this specimen is an antique. Just because she and her family are despicable in many ways doesn’t mean we have to disparage every little thing associated with them. That just makes us haters.
