And more to come. An animal like Moore doesn’t stop with a handful of victims.

Is the signature 2 yrs after the alleged assault…meaning he signed in 1979 but back dated to the day he assaulted her? Or that is the day he signed, and she can’t remember when he had her in car (says she was 15 or 16…were does the 12-22-77 line up ?)

Sounds a little weak at this point…to me.

What sounds a little weak?

If I were defending Roy Moore, I’d ask why she had him sign her yearbook if she had attempted to rape her. (Which means we should know more about what relationship he had with her or her family. Was he in a position in which he would have had continuing contact with her and so it would have been understandable for him to sign the yearbook and for her to act as if nothing had happened?)

All five of these women are so brave. They know what kind of public abuse they are in for and they are willing to do it anyway. They know that they will never get any legal justice for putting themselves out there but they are doing it anyway.

I really hope this ends up keeping Moore from winning. It’s not by any means a given, but at least there’s now a chance. I’m so grateful to these brave women for being willing to do this.

This is getting more and more serious, the stories that much more sinister. I have the feeling we’re still more towards the beginning than the end of these sorts of allegations. If Roy Moore is smart, he drops out now. Otherwise, statutes of limitations notwithstanding, he may actually get the jail time he so richly deserves.

McConnell is one cold, emotionless analytical person. He just dumped Moore like a hot potato earlier today. I think he thinks there’s still more to come.

“He said, you’re just a child, and he said, I am the district attorney of Etowah County, and if you tell anyone about this, no one will ever believe you,” she said.

For what shall it profit a Party, if it shall gain Alabama, and lose its own soul?

Today’s GOP, ladies and gentlemen, today’s GOP…

Missed the presser, when was the yearbook signed, I assume 12-22-77, so was assault prior ? Or maybe it was passed around at the diner…

What kind of grown man even signs a teenager’s yearbook, and signs it “love.”

Add to that the fact that the guy was the freakin’ DA of the county and it seems all that much more creepy.

This story is sick. Anyone still defending Moore is sick.

If Moore drops out, he’ll be replaced with a goody twoshoes GOPer who will be elected.
He has to stay in for our Dem to get elected.

Golly, I missed that part in the Bible about the thirty-something Joseph trying to rape the 15-16 year-old Mary in his car.

The accuser says that Moore signed the yearbook before the assault–she worked at the restaurant he ate at every evening and had her yearbook there at the counter. He asked to sign it.

Very brave woman. She still lives in Alabama and no doubt understands she’s about to be victimized again by the idiots that still support Moore.

As a society, we owe her a deep debt of gratitude for having the courage to speak up. Her life as she’s known it is over.

C’mon, people, what’s the fuss about here?

How many high school girls haven’t brought their yearbooks to the restaurant where they are waitressing only to have the local thirty-something constant-creepy-customer D.A. insist on signing them, complete with “Love,” “D.A.,” and the name of the restaurant?
