Clearly the RNC has been reviewing the films of the 1964 Repuglican convention that nominated Goldwater. No roll-call votes and voice votes driven like a bulldozer over protests from the crowd, all to get the result that the RNC big-wigs wanted. And let’s all remember the outcome of that election: Goldwater carried 6 states for a total of 52 electoral votes. Johnson won in a landslide of 44 states +DC or 486 Electoral votes.
