Let’s hear it for more carefully orchestrated political attacks like this one. On the other hand, how careful do you need to be when they just drop the damning evidence right in your lap?

The reasons he gives for resigning would, if true, actually be good reasons for staying and fighting. If he really believed these were attacks against him for actions he wants to take as a leader, and if he were truly a leader, he would stand and fight.

Typically Republican when you’re called on your racism: it’s an attack on me. The man ought not even to be an elected representative.
