Discussion: Nevada Elections Official Clarifies—Somewhat—Mysterious Voter Fraud Claims

So, let’s see, that’s 3 non citizens voting. Trump claimed at least 3 million did. So that’s 3 down, only 2,999,997 to go!

Wow, three. Only 2,999,997 left for GOP secretaries of state to find and President Tweet’s bullshit will come true.

I cannot help but notice her passing resemblance to the vacuous DeVos. There must be some sort of factory that churns out these harridans.

I am seriously tired of the republiCONz alternate facts, these people are creating fear thru treason.

Nothing to see here. Just another RepubliCon hack spreading lies, what she hopes is hysteria.

This is really simple. Someone who is an intermediary for voter registration forms may flag forms they think are not valid, but must still pass those forms to the state office responsible for registering voters. Anything else leads inevitable to fraud. We’ve been down that road.

Note that the request is “No more registration at the DMV” rather than the actual solution of better checking at the secretary of state’s office.

They do realize that someone with a green card can then become a citizen. Yes?

I was born in Anaheim,CA but haven’t lived there in 51 years. But I still present it to the Government when at the DMV or applying for a passport because it, like an old green card is valid identification when seeking a DL or passport.

Yes, because that means that the secretary of state would have to do actual work, and Republican politicians would rather chew their own arms off than actually do their job.

So the Nevada election officials failed to do their job under the Memorandum of Understanding of screening out people who are not eligible to vote. They screwed up, but apparently their solution is not to fulfill their own obligations, but to prevent people from registering at the DMV which would certainly lead to fewer people registering and voting. Cynical bastards.

And yes, the Secretary of State does bear an uncanny resemblance to DeVos.

This is exactly the bullshit that was thrown at ACORN. They were required to submit all of the applications they received, but they flagged some that were suspicious. There was no evidence that anybody was actually falsely registered, and certainly no evidence that any actual voting fraud occurred.

There were 1,134,385 votes cast in the November 2016 election in Nevada. These 3 votes represent .00026 % of the vote. Nice use of resources there Madame Secretary.

Right. Throw out the whole process for .00026 percent of the vote. Makes sense if you’re a Republican.

Haha…she’s trying to shift the blame away from herself. It was her agency’s/offices’ job to screen those registrations and for those people to not be placed on the voter rolls, such that they did not receive a ballot.

And if they actually only cast provisional ballots, then it was her agency’s/offices’ job o make sure those ballots were rejected.

I am still somewhat flabbergasted at the depths the GOP will sink to, simply to suppress non-Republcan votes. Since they can’t win honestly, they cheat and steal. That is all.

Three! Holy shit that could turn oven an election, assuming they were all in the same race. and voted the same way.

What does her perfectly normal appearance have to do with anything?

More substance, less dilettance, please. Thank you.

Hmmm. OK, let’s try this. She is as mendacious and unqualified as DeVos, without the billions to back her up.

That substantive enough for you?

Better. What she LOOKS like has nothing to do with it.

Why, thank you ever so much for your, uh, elevating my status. I am so pleased.
