Trump Hates
Maybe when they’re both in prison they can be pen pals.
I look forward to hearing Bibi, calling from a pay phone in the day room in Ofer Prison, proudly proclaim over speakerphone that dedicating this Potemkin Village, which will include many outstanding facilities, including a newly resurrected Trump University, fondly dubbed Toadglans Tech, is the highlight of his 20-year sentence.
Great marketing campaign for Iran.
When they tell the world that they are invading Trump Heights and not the Golan Heights, nobody will give a shit.
Imagine all the late teens and twenty somethings pining for a Military Draft so they can put down the Call of Duty videogame in Dad’s basement and
BE DRAFTED INTO THE MILITARY and
FIGHT with real soldiers
If outright mocking goes over his head.
Apparently this is a PR stunt - there is no village and they didn’t name anything after Dear Leader.
I’m surprised that Trump isn’t asking for payments for the use of his name. Isn’t he a branding genius?
God Bless the Crew of the USS Liberty and the 34 Sailors who died on 6-8-67
Like Putin, Lil’ Kim, MBS, and others, Netanyahu knows flattery always works with Trump. Netanyahu also knows that the minute after it’s announced Trump loses next year (God willing), he has to pretend he never liked him. Expect it.
Poor Donnie. For Catherine the Great, they went to the trouble of erecting some empty facades. Donnie’s “Potemkin Village” is merely one billboard.
I can’t think of another place in the world named for a former president. Maybe a few streets in places. Most would be humbled and not pleased at having a town named for them particularly in a disputed area.
When I turned 13 in 1973 I donated a few dollars for the Trees for Israel. I hope it’s not in a disputed section.
I think most gamers would happily stick with their games. Most don’t have a clue about whats going on in the real world.
And of course the Israelis will truly honor Trump by denying admission to non whites.
Not even a Potemkin village, but a Potemkin sign.

So… let’s tote it up, ladies and gentlemen: there are no buildings, there are no plans for buildings, there is no funding for buildings, there is no community at all, and so far it’s a complete figment of the imagination… and yet there it is, named in Great Big Letters for Donald Trump! Was there ever a more fitting piece of performance art?
The whole thing is very apt - hastily painted sign, astroturf and some cheap plastic planters with some potted shrubs thrown in - look at the plants on the right - tipping over, they didn’t even bother to take them out of the pots - and some dirt in a heap near it - all fronting a scrubby, empty field. The whole thing is cheap and useless.
I hear they just renamed Tel Megiddo.
