Nearly two-thirds of New Jersey voters want Gov. Chris Christie to drop out of the presidential contest and return to the Garden State,
The other one third want him to stay as far away as possible.
TPM might have buried the lede. Itâs where they want him to go after dropping out thats important.
Nearly two-thirds of New Jersey voters want Gov. Chris Christie to drop out of the presidential contest and return to the Garden State,
Where does this headline come from? The question is âDo you think Chris Christie should stay in the race for President or should drop out of the race for President?â to which 61% said to drop out. And a separate question asks âWhich comes closer to your point of view; Chris Christie should stay in office as Governor because he can still serve effectively while running for President, or Chris Christie should resign from his job as Governor because he cannot serve effectively while running for president?â where 51% chose the latter.
There sure are some people who think Christie should drop out AND never return to the state.
