Well put.

I have mentioned the term “Manhattan Project” in dealing with Global Warming.

“Manhattan Project” meaning a combination of Government, Academic and Private Sector effort in the face of grave danger. In WWII, the Grave Danger was that the U.S, knew that the Germans had been working in the arena of the technology necessary for the construction of the Atomic Bomb.

If the lunatic Hitler had the Bomb first, it was “over” for the rest of the world.

Global Warming has the capability of things being “over” for the rest of the world.

Hence the advisability of a Manhattan Project.

Absolutely. The time for Band-aids and half-measures is long past.

No more beans or garlic.

Huh. I bookmarked Weather.com and on the front page of their Forecasts under “Top Stories” is a picture of a starving, horribly emaciated polar bear alone on an ice floe. Apparently, this was one of many bears that slowly starved to death due to lack of ice to hunt on. It’s one of the more terrible pictures you’ll see and whenever I see it (to check the days’ forecast) it makes my gorge rise just that much higher. For some species and people, it’s been too late. Mind you, I’m not saying that we should do nothing. I’m just pointing out the obvious to those who already know…

Let’s not pat ourselves on the back to soon, we did pull out of the League of Nations.

The new term will be, 'Globally Tepid". Not hot and not quite warm, definitely not cool, not cool at all.

Global tepidity will only cause your basic level 5 hurricanes and Tsunamis that are rideable. A tepid environment won’t scorch the asses of the environmentalists like warming did and will make electric cars seem even nerdier than before.

In fact, if we were warming and now won’t be so much, then the conclusion is that we are now cooling. Oi vey, it’s getting harder and harder to figure out what to wear. I’m going to need some mid, kinda warm gear now.
Methinks the clothing manufacturers are behind all of this bullshit.

Tepid is the new warm as warm was the old hot as less warming begets cooling.
Got it!

Development of fusion as a viable power source would eliminate 50% or more of emissions in one stroke. Unfortunately it’s one of those things that has been “10 years away” for 40 years or so.

How quickly headlines about the historic climate deal fade and are replaced with one of the most noxious of gases–the hideous odor emitted by Trump.

The GOP says they will “shred” this agreement. But see the Guardian article on how cleverly Obama did it so that they really can’t do so: http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015/dec/13/climate-change-paris-deal-cop21-obama-administration-congress-republicans-environment
