Interesting to see Uber on the list.

This is going to make the Republicans in Congress squirm a bit. Each action like this makes it a little harder for them to support President Bannon and his puppet Baby Donny.

EPA Employee Rally in Chicago Today.

Here are the details:

Who: EPA workers, Sierra Club members, and allies

What: #SaveEPA lunchtime rally

When: Monday, February 6 at noon

Where: Federal Plaza, 76 W Jackson Blvd, Chicago, IL 60604

If we’ve learned anything in the past two weeks it’s that the unthinkable is on the table for the Trump Administration, and that it’s up to everyday Americans like you and me to stand up for our rights, our planet, our people, and our country.

The EPA has 10 regional offices the largest of which is headquartered in Chicago. Chicago isn’t a city that sits back and lets others strip of us of our rights. We stood up to Trump when he tried to campaign here last year [source] and we’re not going to let the EPA go down without a fight.

Show the Trump Administration what Chicago is made of and that you believe in climate change, protecting our our, water, land, and public health – be there at noon tomorrow.

Times are uncertain and a lot is a risk – the EPA employees aren’t waiting until the unthinkable happens and you shouldn’t either. Show up on Monday and let Trump know water is sacred, we need clean air to breathe, land safe from fracked oil, and a climate that is liveable for all.

No surprise here at all. Last Friday I was at our local mosque attending a protest against the travel ban. I spoke with a Muslim man there for Friday prayers while he was on his lunch break from a big US corporation. He said even though they’ve got suppliers all over the world and he’s routinely called on to make business trips, there’s no way he’d consider travelling overseas right now. That’s just one example, but his employer can’t be too thrilled about that.

Trump and Bannon are being introduced to the law of unintended consequences, not that I expect them to learn any lessons. This administration is ignorant of the way in
which our government functions and just keeps barreling along, leaving chaos in its wake.

Trump: Putin didnt file a brief so I must be doing good. These companies are traitors.

Correct, and the good news is that success breeds success and failure breeds failure. If trump had come in and had a couple quick successes (even relatively minor ones), it would’ve given the GOP and the public a little more confidence in him and emboldened the GOP to stick up for him more next time around. Him starting out with a number of big, obvious failures is definitely good for our side.

Well, if there’s one thing that PeePee understands, it’s lawsuits.

Hmm. Wonder if the Trump Organization is going to file a request to file an amicus brief supporting President Tiny Inauguration.

Not good for a guy who brags about his business acumen. The only way I can see Reps spinning this is that these are companies who are against the American people etc etc. We’ll see how long that lasts considering MS, Apple, and Facebook are mammoth corporations with deep pockets

Congressman Gaetz wants to abolish the EPA

U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz has drafted legislation that, if passed, would do away with the Environmental Protection Agency.

Wouldn’t it be great if all the Rump lovers got pissed off and boycotted Facebook? Much like Congress, their departure would be the biggest improvement possible.
