Discussion: NC Received 1% Of Recent Hurricane Matthew Relief Request, Gov Says

This is the well-lauded trickle-down at work. Any more relief money granted would only make North Carolinians dependent on the government dole.

Must not have hit a TRUMPP property or any of the newly named SCION properties, because per past evidence, Trumpp would’ve been at the head of the line for disaster relief and for now tallest building designations to boot.

Trump: This is punishment for not having a Republican Governor. We want the state to suffer consequences.

The federal government only recognizes republicON governors requests for relief… no story here.

The very honorable Orrin Hatch put it best:

“Let’s face it, once you get them on the dole, they’ll take every dime they can.”

These tarheels need to learn how to pull themselves up by their own bootstraps.

It’s very obvious you have never seen a map of NC or if you do, you don’t know squat about what is north, or east, or south, or west on a map!

In what way does a Wikipedia entry about a town on the Coastal Plain that was flooded by Floyd in any way contradict my statements that Virginia Foxx’s district is in the western part of the state, hurricanes mostly hit the Coastal Plain and that they rarely make it further inland (at least with enough strength to do more than empty the supermarkets of bread and milk)? Or that Hugo was the last time one made it west of the Coastal Plain with enough force to do real damage?

Well don’t ask Orrin Hatch to help you out…he thinks all you moochers will 'take every dime they can” from government programs designed to HELP people. The nerve…

I went back and reread your comment and was mistaken! I was under the impression you were commenting about the lady at the beginning of this article.

Ah. Pronoun confusion. My fault.
