I don’t know if he blows harp but he certainly knows organ(s).
He’s as dumb as Sarah and Ben.
“We’re the real victims. Everyone is persecuting us unjustly. This intolerance of our intolerance just proves that liberals aren’t as tolerant as they say they are.”
Where the fuck does it say you can’t slap the governor?
Really? Harmonica? I though he played banjo, as in dueling banjos.
This guy is betting his political future by maintaining his steadfast support of the bill.
OK/Fine.
We’ll see if that works out well for him come this November.
What’s it gonna be NC voters?
You have the guts to claim selective outrage after you called a special legislative session to pass a law targeting the LGBT community. Go F**k yourself bigot.
I have more than a feeling this controversy in NC will continue.
Hahahaha.
“But the other bigots get away with it” is the best you can do?
Well it is their choice and I don’t suppose they had the Governors happiness in mind when they made it. But when does this man get put in his place? He’s been allowed to dodge the bulk of the ugly in this bill by dwelling on bathrooms. Mr. Springsteen and Pearl Jam know what that fucking bill is really about and that’s why they aren’t going to NC.
There’s no hypocrisy in their actions.
And now a Message to Pat McCrory from the inimitable Tom Monroe.
I was stranded in Kansas one time, and the entire time I was there, I had this uneasy feeling that around noon each day, the call to prayer would go out over the loudspeakers. Only instead of Arabic, I’d hear Dueling Banjos, and some hillbilly would walk up behind me, give me a reach-around, and go “You got a purty mouth.”
This man can lay off the hair dye.
I’ve said this before here and on other sites: I knew McCrory would blame everyone else for his missteps.
Further, claiming that all the Ivy League lawyers that represent the many top notch firms in NC don’t understand the law?
Pulleezze spare us governor!
The only idiots here are him and his legislators!
A lot of that will depend on what kind of campaign Roy Cooper runs. So far, the one major organization that hasn’t come out full-throat against HB2 is the NCDP. Nearly a dozen Democrats in the state House voted in favor of it. Cooper has said it should have been vetoed, and should still be repealed, but he’s certainly not putting himself in a leadership position opposing the bill.
Why not require them to perform in North Carolina by placing the band members’ parents in forced labor camps?
This works very well for McCrory’s anti-gay counterpart in North Korea — and yet Republican governors aren’t given the freedom to do it. Another right that $#@!@% Obama has taken away from us!
It wouldn’t make any difference of MLK was a Republican. In the 1960’s GOP’ers were nothing like they are today. Lincoln the same. It’s got the same name but it’s an entirely different show. Lots of folks think Reagan wouldn’t fit in the new GOP. They may be right.
MLK was not a member of any political party but he usually supported Democrats.
The fact that the Guv’s spokesman describes opposition to the law as a “political disagreement” shows pretty fu&%in’ clearly that the Guv and his evil minions simply don’t understand the world that they are living in.
But they’re already in a FEMA camp. Do you how difficult it is for two government agencies to communicate effectively these days?
