See you in court Gov. Duke Oil Flunky.
Will not withstand even the NC Supreme Court!
âItâs better to have rules and guidelines with all this technology than no rules and guidelines whatsoever,â said McCrory.
Yet another example of small government, the Republican way.
Please North Carolina, PLEAASE, get rid of this odious sh*thead youâre currently calling âgovernor.â
âMy goal is to protect those who protect us,â he added.
This law protects the police. THE POLICE. Those are the only individuals who get to be protected and they donât need anymore protection. The whole point of having body cams on the police is to make them more accountable to the citizenry.
ââŚstipulates that only individuals whose image or audio appears in a police dashboard or body camera recording can request to view that file.â
Why would they need to view it - they were there. They know what happened; itâs the citizens who donât know.
âMy goal is to protect those who protect us.â Iâm certain the Governor has no idea how revealing that statement is.
Like Trumpâs speech last night, where he went on about how police officers represent, this deification of law enforcement, itâs another example of how too often these days we are saying cops are effectively above the law and ordinary âciviliansâ are 2nd class citizens.
only individuals whose image or audio appears in a police dashboard or body camera recording can request to view that file
Canât do that from the grave. Itâs almost like McCrory is incentivizing police shooting citizens/suspects.
Exactly. What he really means is his goal is to try to make sure police officers caught committing criminal acts continue to go unpunished.
McCrory will make available raw footage from the new âTransgender-Camâ˘â technology, in order that concerned citizens may better seek out those straying from accepted sexual norms and proactively protect their wives and children.
âMy goal is to protect those who protect us,â he added.
Us, as in not âthe others.â
What a lowdown, creepy cracker.
Ah, North Carolina, where the Police want the ability to shoot transgendered people if they use the âwrongâ restroom, without any public oversight.
He is simply a terrible governor
My goal is to protect those who protect us,"
Thatâs about all you need to know. However the âusâ does not include poor people. Cops are not there to âprotectâ little people, they there are to enforce the policies of the ruling class, and in many cases one policy is âkeep the nâŚr in his placeâ. And this law is meant to protect the cops that got a little over-zealous. .
There are cameras everywhere. No use trying to hide evidence. Itâs everywhere. This just makes you look guilty. Taxpayers own those cameras and video not the police or the Republican Party.
I guess if the person on the video is dead his personal representative can see the video? What about his next of kin?
Some people say this sounds like a law intended to protect murderers in police uniform. Typical of North Carolina. Sad.
Wonât happen. Even though there are a lot of Democrats in North Carolina (remember it is a tech heaven) they wonât get off their fainting couches and vote the crazies funded by Duke Energy out of office. They just suffer in silence.
Itâs like thereâs a competition between McCrory, Brownback, Pence, Bryant, Abbott, and Ducey to see who can sign the most bad, unconstitutional bills into law.
True, but he was signing a document drafted and passed by the State legislature. Had he vetoed it they may have overrode the veto and passed it anyway. Sure, he might have scored points for vetoing the bill. Doing so wouldnât have changed the minds of his primary detractors about his failures as a person and a Governor.
Thatâs just not true. Democrats always turn out in presidential elections. And McCrory is in big trouble. A lot of people who voted for him last time believing him to be a moderate canât wait to vote against him this time. This includes a lot of Republicans.
This guy is just full of good ideas, isnât he?
