Discussion: NC GOP Says New Fraud Claim May Warrant Election Re-Do In Race Under Scrutiny

The N.C. GOP is astonishingly corrupt, even by the dismal standards of that party.

Why redo a Congressional race? Why not award the seat to the person who did not commit fraud?

Is fraud even a crime when it is committed by conservatives?

The entire Presidential election was a fraud on the American people and a Soviet-era Russian puppet is in the White House. We have an entire family of Matryoshka dolls and traitors running American government and looting from the Treasury to pad their offshore bank accounts. Given there is a fraudster as commander-in-chief, is there any need to waste taxpayer money on a fraudulent election in a mickey mouse county in North Carolina?

ā€œwithout taint of fraud or corruptionā€

Which reminds me, did you see that Rick Santorum’s name was on the Chief of Staff shortlist?

And to think, it’s actually because of NC’s openness with data that we even found out about all of this.

Hard to believe that this is the one county in all of America that shenanigans have happened.

Would be nice to get some Federal transparency and common rules out there, so we’d see just how many Republicans ā€œwonā€ and where.

I think the word used should not be ā€œfraud.ā€ Improper procedurally, yes, but I don’t think that there are any allegations of vote-changing.

This is just an exit ramp for the NC GOP…

it is 110% clear that fraud impacted the results (not just in likely illegally filled in GOP ballots, but tossing Democratic ones that were sealed) but that a new election was in the offing.

And given they will have to stick with their Mega-Church Grifter candidate, having the justification for a new balloting being some issue with by authorities, rather than his own campaigns fraud, is a fig leaf they are grabbing onto.

Not that it will help them, but for the next few years the GOP can say ā€œit was not GOP fraud, but mishandling of ballots by authoritiesā€ when ever the Democrats point out that the only actual fraud is from the GOP…

I thought there were allegations that some votes were thrown away, which is a form of vote-changing. Could be wrong about the thrown away votes…

it is almost certain, certainly as in statistically certain, that Democratic votes were tossed. The rate of non-returned Democratic ballots was highly abnormal, as was the Harris’s margin on those who were turned in.

Given the complexion of the county, and the abnormal voting patterns, it appears that Harris (a) obtained blank or partially filled in ballots, and completed them for Harris, and (b) picked up completed sealed ballots from voters who were thought to be anti-Harris and shit canned them.

Well clearly, we don’t need the Russians to corrupt the process in North Carolina.

Maybe this is why Mark Meadows want to run, not walk, away from elections in his home state.

Election fraud is not limited to vote-changing.

And this is clearly election fraud.

Nailed it. They know it’s bad with the absentees, so they need to deflect to someone else’s ā€œerrorā€ to make themselves a victim.

You saw the AP story about thousands of mail-in ballots not reaching the election offices ā€œin timeā€ in Florida?

A state controlled by republicans and the results were allowed.

So we need a new Santorum Google bomb. This one involves taint.

A frothy mix of ā€œtaintedā€ semen and fecal matter?

Did you all hear that, a Republican called for a sense of fair play? The Republican definition of ā€˜fair play’ means they got caught cheating.
Rather than hold another election, the seat should be awarded to the Democratic candidate, no reward for cheating!

On NPR here in Charlotte, they are reporting is there is a new election the GOP wants to also redo the primary!

3 fraudulent presidential elections in a row and the Democrats never seem to be able to make enough noise to count while the republicans can instantly make a mountain out of a mothball.

Did TPM accidentally interview one of the writers for The Onion there?
