Discussion: NC GOP Rep: Charlotte Protesters "Hate White People"

I love the way that the confluence of Trump’s campaign and the ubiquity of cameras/video is getting all these elderly white racist crazies on record.

Pity that Pittenger is so stunningly ignorant.

He forgot to say “… because they can’t marry our women”

“they hate white people because white people are successful and they’re not.”

No Congressman Pittenger, they don’t hate white people, they hate that too many black men are getting killed at the hands of police for doing nothing illegal!

And then you have the balls to turn around and say:

“My anguish led me to respond to a reporter’s question in a way that I regret.”

BULLS*#T!!! The only thing you regret is saying something that might reveal you to be the racist scum that you are anf might, just might cost you an election. You are truly despicable.

“What is taking place in my hometown right now breaks my heart. My
anguish led me to respond to a reporter’s question in a way that I
regret,” he said in his apology statement.

I’m shocked, shocked to learn that the racist is also a liar.

And don’t go blaming Obama for the racism.

As you well know, he was too busy founding ISIS and bringing Marxism, Shariah law, homosexual indoctrination, and taco trucks to America.

You know I sit here and remember the police brutality in west Dallas Tx back in the 60"s and early 70’s and i think of all the progress Dallas police and surrounding suburbs have made with race relations. Why in the fucking hell would these people that back trump want to go back to those days? They are promoting hate.
Any republican that backs or votes for Donald Trump is promoting hate.

Just when I think that no Republican could ever say anything more disgusting, here comes Rep. Pittenger. Did he really think the BBC would be impressed by his despicable, ignorant comment?

Curious it takes foreign media to find a racist…

Why do some GOP Reps. insist on saying stupid inflammatory things?
edit
from the article:
“He also complained that the government has spent too much on welfare programs that ultimately hold people back.”
…
Why don’t ya pass out steel toed shoes so your people can kick black folks for being on welfare?
Mister Rep. I was homeless in my 20’s. No job and living out of a pick-up truck. You ought to try it sometime. It’s very character building I can tell ya.
…

He later released a statement apologizing for what he said, and his comments were condemned by Democrats.
…
Mister Rep., your comments should be condemned by anyone with a working brain but that leaves out a lot of your constituents I expect… in your gerrymandered district.

NC is better than this man. He might have represented the views of the residents of this state at one time, and he probably represents the views of his gerrymandered district, but we are better than him.

From the photo, he looks like he could have a career playing a dithering fool in the movies…

I’m not a troll. I’m not being facetious. I’m serious. I think President Lincoln and the Union were wrong. They didn’t know it at the time but seriously, do you think Mississippi and Manhattan belong in the same country? Alabama and Vermont? Oklahoma and Massachusetts? Really? Have you ever traveled to these places and talked to the people? They might as well be from different planets. Our country is as doomed as the Holy Roman Empire, The British Empire and the Soviet Union were. It’s insane to try to keep such utterly different peoples forcibly united. The E.U. will eventually collapse. The USA will split into two. Get used to the idea.

I don’t agree.

Surely would have earned him the 2016 Todd Akin Award.
