So it goes.
Ironic that Obama’s approval is rising overall while Trump’s numbers are peaking with Republicans.
More evidence for two Americas?
I just heard one supporter justify her devotion to Trump by saying, “He speaks his mind! I like that.”
bwwwaahahahaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
It’s like supporting that drunken relative (everyone has one) who “speaks his mind” (jokes about his penis all evening/says he would date his daughter/personally insults everyone in the room…etc), but who the hell wants him to be president?

It’s called a “ceiling”
How can Trump swim with Christie hung around his neck like a millstone?
The NBC/Survey Monkey poll
now that’s calling it what it is!
But there’s this

What a horrible person.
Each day, public people will be rolled out who support Trump.
And, I can guarantee you, this will make so very many people cynical. It will be the equivalent to having a revered public figure coming out in favour of Ante Bellum slavery.
The Republicans are getting in line. I don’t think the November election is going to be the total walk in the park a lot of people around here have been supposing. Hillary is going to need all those young Bernie voters a lot of her supporters don’t understand. Hillary needs to reach out to them. Bernie needs to tell them to vote Democratic. Everybody is going to have to GOTV.
Please do not panic about every poll that comes out. FiveThirtyEight points out that national polls are pretty worthless at this point, their weighted average doesn’t show Trump breaking his mid-40s ceiling.
O’Donnell has been running something called Election Confessions, people submitting stories about their stated intentions in voting for someone and the reality of who they’re going to vote for. They tell friends and loved ones they’re going to vote for X because it’s PC and keeps the peace but deep down they’re going to for Y because that person is the one they believe in.
