First set of Russian indictments handed down dealt with election interference. Now he’s going after the hacking. Last will be the financial crimes.
Once he’s laid out the easy-to-chew crimes and charges Russian actors, he comes for the 'Merkins who conspired and/or committed crimes as defined in all previous indictments.
The train is picking up speed. Each new cooperator adds finer points, perhaps a few new leads but, most importantly, corroborates the core conspiracies and crimes.
It’s brilliant. I’m in awe. I’d give anything to see The Boards in Mueller case room(s).
…and FBI investigating Lust Object
The wheels are coming off, noose is tightening, walls are closing in, etc.
But it all looks the same, somehow.
This has got to send him around the bend.
Short trip.
Have you noticed that if you catch the right picture of Ivanka she looks just like Eric?
Look at her lower face in this one:
The FBI will get lots of support in Vancouver. The people there have hated this project from the get go.
An Ivanity Trump Spa. Hate to think what the hydrotherapy is.
My secret evil wish is for Ivanka to go to prison and get fat and let her hair go so the real color starts growing out.
But mainly, she gets fat on all the starchy crap they feed them.
Being assigned to the shop that has to sew inmate uniforms would be a nice touch.
I like it and you’re right - very poetic.
Prison will jarring (no pun intended) for Vonkadonk - she’s used to finely tweezed brows and no facial hair staring back at her across the pillow…
And I do love the visual of her getting fat, her roots grown out, wearing orange and sewing uniforms for pennies. An eternity of endless sweat shop conditions seems fitting.
Agreed. And I like how you laid it out. I think Mueller will further establish the hacking, show that Russians were unquestionably the culprits, then lay out the conspiracy/collusion between the PP campaign and the Russians, and tie it all together with the financial motive that started it all. He’s almost going to tell a story in reverse.
But as this gets broader and more alarming to R’s, they lose any remaining motivation to block Russian interference in 2018. (We may have to rely on the private sector to do the job. Maybe Brad Parscale.) Seriously, what if the Ruskies help the R’s keep the House? All of this just sits there to be twisted by Fox News.
At some point, they’re going to have to put country before party—more than the handful that do now.
Before long they maybe pushing him out the door.
At the beginning of the year, I said Mueller needed to establish some indictments relating to violations of the federal election campaign act, the computer fraud and abuse act, related conspiracy/aiding and abetting, and related crimes of concealment.
He launched into it with the Internet Research Agency indictment. That one established that the Russian social media campaign to interfere in the US elections was a federal crime. The indictment he now appears to be preparing would establish the computer systems hack and email theft of the DNC and Clinton campaigns are also Federal crimes.
Once Mueller establishes that the hack/theft are federal crimes, it sets the stage to indict American co-conspirators, which would include the Trump campaign entity, and individuals like Roger Stone, Julian Assange, Donald Trump Jr, Jared Kushner, Brad Parscale and the entire digital team, with the ultimate target being Donald Trump Sr.
It would also tie to actions where Trump connected folks failed to inform the gov’t of a crime in progress, where there was obstruction or concealment of evidence, and other interference that prevented the government agencies like the FEC, DOJ and FBI from doing their jobs to enforce the law and stop crimes. So this is another bigly net that Mueller is casting out there.
Another major unanswered question is whether Mueller’s grand jury will charge any Americans as witting participants in the hacking and leaking scheme — including anyone associated with Trump’s presidential campaign. Americans referenced in Mueller’s previous indictment of Russians were described as “unwitting.”
One source suggested that a new indictment could include unnamed American co-conspirators as part of a strategy to pressure those involved to cooperate.
This aspect of #trumprussia is the most easily translatable to Watergate. This is essentially a virtual Watergate. There was a theft of campaign information, the intent to, and actual use, of that stolen info for political purposes, and a cover-up. This is far more complex because of the international component, the high impactful value of the info (emails, emails, emails) and the acts that Trump associated people in and out of the campaign undertook to solicit, obtain, use and make follow-up requests for more such info (e.g., “Russia if you’re listening…”). The other thing that makes this different is Mueller’s access to intel intercepts. It makes guilt easy to prove, and it’s easier to flip witnesses.
The MSM has been under shock and disbelief as to the seriousness of Hope Hicks’ run ins with Mueller, Kushner’s myriad of problems (although I sense that today that is becoming clearer), and now this information. A few months ago, Roger Stone said he had spent $500,000 in legal defense. That’s a lot for a guy who calls himself a minimal observer and bit player. He’s probably as high as $2 million now in the hole. It’s not because this is a witch hunt. This is a serious matter and the walls are closing in on all involved.
