Discussion: NBC Host To Sanders: Your Take On Superdelegates Is A Bit 'Hypocritical'

It’s getting embarrassing.

No, you’re not the only one. Heck, even Todd caught that one.

What does he mean he thought there were 3 paths to the nomination…so now it’s I didn’t know the rules

With a three million vote and a twelve state deficit the term “hypothetical” is generous

Maybe he’s alluding to a 3rd party run? Senior moment slip?

Bernie " I am not a Democrat and I helped elect Donald Trump President" Sanders…

Where would he get the money from? He’s got debt now

Bernie. Siddown a minnit.

If, IF, in some alternate world of the Democratic Party, old man, IF the stars aligned in the most evil way possible and Hillary Clinton was frog-marched out of the convention in handcuffs and thrown into a dungeon because of her many unspecified “crimes” that are the wet dreams of the GOP and the BernieBros put together and amplified x 1000, you get what I’m saying? IF that ever happened, the Democratic Party would call into service our beloved Joe Biden to lead our Party to Democratic victory in the Autumn of 2016.

Joe Biden. Not you. Get what I’m saying?

This man is so arrogant. He assumes than he can walk into the convention, blatantly steal the nomination from Hilliary Clinton using the same things he supposedly despises, the super delegets, and not only expect Clinton supporters to be okay with it, they will vote for him to

Though I’d be totally against Bernie running a third-party run, I wouldn’t put it past him trying … however, he’d likely have problems getting on the ballot in some states at this late stage.

He’s also delusional. I think he’s just talking out of his ass and pretty much believes all the crazy at this point - which makes it even worse.

Not to mention that many states have “sore loser” laws. You can’t lose in a primary and then run as an independent in the general.

$$$$$$$$$ would be a big problem

Is this the political revolution? If so, I’m not interested.

Exactly…I don’t put ANYTHING past him…especially lately considering all his thinly-veiled comments about pretty much everything. He also really believes this shit.

the revolution will not be funded.

I suspect he was allowed to run as a Dem to circumvent the possibility of a 3rd party run.

I think you’re right. They very likely succeeded in that regard.

I voted for Bernie in NH, donated to his campaign, and put out street and lawn signs for him. While I’m no fan of Hillary, watching Bernie use every political manipulation he can find or invent really turns me off. I don’t understand why he ran in the Democratic Party primaries if he is so viciously hateful towards the Democratic Party. His Hillary bashing makes me feel ashamed of having supported him.

Hillary is going to win with pledged delegates. The super delegates will be irrelevant just like in 2008.
