Discussion: NBC Host To Sanders: Your Take On Superdelegates Is A Bit 'Hypocritical'

If Bernie makes a third-party run, Trump won’t need money.

Bernie remains intoxicated - and somewhat deluded - by the size of his crowds, but he is almost 3 million votes behind HRC. Think some of these “supporters” are planting false flags?

“Those leaders are growing older and out of touch.”

Really, the gay rights groups are out of touch – this, when a growing number of states are using hysterical opposition to LGBT people to demonize President Obama for his guidance on bathroom access issues, and who are enacting state laws that prohibit local governments from passing anti-discrimination ordinances?

When a majority of Republican-led states are trying to put Planned Parenthood and abortion providers out of business with onerous regulations?

When a majority of Republican-led states have passed laws that limit collective bargaining?

On the first page of today’s TPM, there are seven stories slugged “Trump.” Anyone else see the problem?

It’ll be funded, and Jane will be in charge of the finances.

Don’t know, but something kicked in. Perhaps–and more likely–it was just a blip. Wouldn’t it be nice if “journalists” in our “mainstream media” started acting like “journalists?” Imagine how much better America would be if that happened.

When you promote someone to Meet the Press because they could add numbers quickly on their little hand-held whiteboard years ago, you get someone who is not a journalist. Not being a journalist, he doesn’t know there is a set of ethics attached to the profession, but even if he found out about it, he still wouldn’t do the things a journalist is supposed to do. There’s a reason we have the term “chucktodd” to describe not doing the job of journalism – he said himself he doesn’t have to.

They’d have to buck the trend. It might jeopardize their celebrity status and the big bucks they get paid to toe the corporate line. If they upset the interviewees, they might “lose access” boo hoo!!!

To call him a deadbeat because he didn’t support his son because he refused to get a regular paying job… yeah thats a deadbeat.

“A bit hypocritical”? Honey, this is hypocrisy topped with double fudge chocolate sauce, a vat of whipped cream, and a gross of maraschino cherries.

At the heart of the email story is a communications and storage issue. That’s all. She didn’t trade secrets with Putin, or Kim Jong-Un or Mugabe

Actually I have noticed it for quite sometime. Trump and always Trump.

I’ve been kind of wondering if someone’s given Chuck something like a ‘Baby’s First Journalism Course’ book.

I expect better from TPM.

Actually that makes you a Republican who is too lazy to change parties.

I might be an old man, but I am not bitter. I want the party to stand for the future of all Americans not just the privileged insiders who like things just like they are.

I don’t think it is important to blame anybody for the demise of the middle class, the outsourcing of jobs, high costs for higher education or lower resources for low income families. I think it is important to ask what we as Democrats are going to do about all of those modern realities.

As to the sclerotic mind of a man holding on to the past, I don’t know if you mean me or Bernie, but I would suggest Bernie has struck a nerve with 46% of the Democratic voters including most young Democratic voters, so maybe the past is prologue.

As soon as he suggested Obama be primaried in 2012, Sanders was basically dead to me. I really hated the idea that Dems let him run under the auspices of the DNC. I always said he should have been forced to run as an independent, since his campaign would have shriveled up and blown away by now. The only reason his campaign has lasted this long is because of the media-hawked primary rivalry between Sanders and Clinton.
And when he chose that jagoff Cornel West for one of the committees, that was the final nail in the coffin.
Fuck Bernie. He’s through, no matter what the outcome of the election. He was too clever by half, and now he has pissed off the majority of Dems. So I guess now Bernie’s going to have to caucus with the GOP, and I wouldn’t put it past him, the traitorous fuck.

After his successful “Rube-enization” of the North Dakota Oil Boy Republicans earlier in the week, “Mr. Trump” moves on to rural California to court Big Ag with his lies. The Art of the Con, and The Culture of Grift, continues to be a viable business practice in 2016 America.

I wonder if the name Trump will become part of our cultural memory and historical record in the same way as that of Charles Ponzi.
