Why NBC thought that she was a journalist or a newsreader/host without the Fox News taint and philosophy is a mystery.
Can NBC now stop trying to make FOX transplants work? In the future, try ensuring your current audience is content and don’t assume they’re ignorant of the FOX media’s past comments.
Or, if they’re going to, could they not blow sixty nine million fucking dollars on it that could have been spent on actual journalism?
We have this constant parade of paid hacks yammering about the news because it’s cheaper than actually gathering news. But they have this Powerball Jackpot to pay the Face of Fox?
Great news for her.
She can now devote full-time to planning her Halloween costume.
Trade her back to Fox for a bucket of warm spit and a conditional 3rd round draft choice…
Sad!
womp womp womp…
And yet the dipshit, casually racist, lousy excuse for a journalist will walk away with millions.
The ironic thing is Tamron Hall came out of the Fox affiliate in Chicago, and fit in well.
Obviously, NBC picked the best of the litter on their first try. The runt on the second try.
the network didn’t want litigation, soooooooo…
Megyn Kelly is 47 years old, she is intelligent, savvy, and politically and culturally aware. She is also a lawyer. I do NOT believe that she just recently “learned” the history of blackface and its racism. I just DON’T believe it! Her apology rang hollow.
Is it too soon to say her show… bombed?
I hope the execs at NBC learned a lesson - don’t hire ex-Fox talking heads.
Same great minds that thought Hugh Hewitt was just what was needed at 8 am on a Saturday on MSNBC
I have no desire to see Fox News’s taint…
Like Ol’ Gretta whatsername
Seriously
At 6 pm ?
They noticed no one was watching, which should have occurred to them with Meygan
FFS Comcast sent me a survey about it
Or maybe she is clueless about the rest of the world beyond her white suburban upbringing. I could take you to my brother’s suburban neighborhood and find a bunch of people just like her, well educated, but stuck in their own bubble, self justifying all kinds of things.
It’s time for A Closer Look© at Tio Wally’s television viewing habits:
I can count the number of NBC programs I watch on two fingers. One of them airs live on Saturday nights. Megyn Kelly Today was not the other one.
Hollywood Reporter reported Friday that Freedman is continuing to work with NBC officials to negotiate her departure from the network, where she has three-year $69 million contract.
Holy cow! Her face on the air isn’t worth that much!
