Well, if that Good Guy with a Gun would stop watching Dukes of Hazzard reruns, get off his ass and start doing some protecting from the Bad Guy with a Gun, the Navy could get rid of the mall cops.

Better idea… make it very difficult to get a weapon and just as hard to keep it.

This is a total waste of government resources. We should put the fear of God into these Islamist evildoers by hitting them where they live. I suggest a bombing campaign against their sanctuaries in Afghanistan with deployment of Rangers, SEALs, 1st-SFOD and then full invasion with Marines and regular Army forces. After about eighteen months we need to add a full invasion of Iraq to stabilize the country and change the regime. That will take care of the problem!!!111!!ELEVENTY!!!1

Hopefully not standing outside like that, because that is basically a target. Bullet resistant glass with a buzzer entry with video might be a better solution.
