If I were on the school board, I would rake the super over the coals for wasting the district’s precious resources by being a rigid and bigoted anti-Constitutional dick.
Native Americans have the right to possess and display Eagle feathers. For the rest of the populations it’s a no-no. I have a feather with the Vietnam campaign badge done up in colored beads that was blessed in a tribal ceremony and presented to me even though I am not a registered member of any tribe. But since it was blessed in a tribal ceremony prior to being presented to me I can legally posses it.

It’s a Graduation. A time for celebration. Why be so prissy? It’s about the students and their families, after all. Let them celebrate the way they see fit as long as it doesn’t overly disturb others.
