It’s not that we like using twitter so much. We actually find it to be very time consuming when we could be tending to more urgent matters. However, we find that we simply have to use twitter to counteract the stream of very bad distortions of the truth by this administration. The T rump regime is the most truthless administration in US history. Very bad. Awful. If they would simply speak the truth to the American people, we wouldn’t have to resort to using twitter all of the time to let the American people and the world know what’s really going on. Sad!

Only 4 days in and ALREADY he is at war with his own administration.

The last time we saw something like this was during the Watergate crisis as Nixon railed against his own appointees who refused to do his dirty work.

It will only get worse as the thin-skinned narcissist goes on witch-hunts for “Leakers” and “Dis-Loyal” members of his own government.

I am reminded of Captain Queeg in “The Cain Mutiny”:
“He was no different from any other officer in the ward room, they were all disloyal. I tried to run the ship properly, by the book, but they fought me at every turn. The crew wanted to walk around with their shirt tails hanging out, that’s all right, let them. Take the tow line, defective equipment, no more, no less. But they encouraged the crew to go around scoffing at me, and spreading wild rumors about steaming in circles, and then old yellow-strain. I was to blame for Lt. Maryk’s incompetence and poor seamanship. Lt. Maryk was the perfect officer, but not Captain Queeg.
Ah, but the strawberries, that’s, that’s where I had them, they laughed at me and made jokes, but I proved beyond the shadow of a doubt, with geometric logic, that a duplicate key to the ward room icebox did exist, and I’ve had produced that key if they hadn’t pulled the Caine out of action.”

Sounds a lot like “Millions of Illegals voted against me!”

What’s your point?

I wonder what the shipping costs to Washington DC would be?

And they’ve been in office for FOUR DAYS!

Can they be fired for that?

With enough pressure from the top, anyone can be fired. We’ll see over the next four years if the reverse is true.

If I know the French, they’d be happy to ship it overnight at no charge. Good deeds and all.

Small suggestion: whatever the topic of a rebellious tweet, include side by side aerial photos of the Trump and Obama inaugurations.

Hahahaha…you think it was something when Manning and Snowden went all tattletale? Wait till you see what’s coming over the next 4 years. I envision a regime wracked by disobedience and whistleblowing for its attempts to get everyone and everything into secretive, goose-stepping, on-message sync. It’s too big, too unwieldy and the employees are too well protected by labor laws for their attempts to cow every agency and every employee to succeed in the manner they think they can. The attempts will only become more blatant and aggressive as each previous attempt is frustrated and I think we’re going to have reports of some very serious misbehavior and/or violations by summer.

It’s those pesky natives again.

Probably. Or just forced out, with the very unattractive alternative of fighting to get their jobs back, a long and difficult process.

My first thought, too.

Lotta baby boomers out there to cause heck on the way out the door…

Rarely is the question asked: Is our machines learning?

Not likely. But reprimanded, yes.

The “parkies” I worked with were brilliant people who could have made shit loads of money in the private sector and driven around in BMWs. They chose to be Parkies because serving the public and the nation’s heritage is more important to them than money. These folks cannot be bought, cannot be made to see things Trump’s way. There is no negotiation. Whenever you negotiate over preserving natural and cultural resources, clean, air clean water, biodiversity, by definition, the resource loses.

They have to be as pissed off as I am if not a whole lot more over this quiet promise of the GOP’s to sell off our public lands.

I think the plan is to lower their pay to 1$ until they comply.
